more suitable for sensitive skin. Ive been using the cellular skin rx c+ firming serum but a while once or twice a week but after my skin looks a bit bumpy (not actual bumps its hard to explain) and pores look bigger. Wondering if my skins just too sensitive for it.
Would using MAP be better but does it help to stimulate collagen like l'ascorbic does and what about antioxidant wise does it stay in the skin aslong as i heard l'ascorbic does?
Also what about Tetrahexydecyl ascorbate? |

LAA is the most effective form of C and the most irritating. I get bumps and cann't kuse it. MAP is less studied, but is supposed to stimulate collegen. SAP and ascorbyl glucoside might be better for lightening. |

Interesting to hear that different forms may give different effects - any references? Just want to know more.
Not long ago, I stopped using a DIY LAA serum that seems to make my skin more orange/tanned. I originally wanted to use it to lighten age spots, brighten complexion and help with collagen, so I am still trying to figure out why and if I can still use my LAA powder for an effective serum that works for me.
There is a rather long thread in this forum about this same issue that other people had, somewhere. |

Hi All,
I am wondering if anyone has been able to come up with a successful DIY recipe with LAA (water soluble) and MAP (oil soluble) and any success with using both so far?
Thanks,
Mansi |
