Hey Everyone!
So it's been almost ten years since I've posted on the forum...and sadly, my skin is not the same so I'm looking to shake up my routine.
I'm looking for suggestions on adding acid to my skincare regime. I am currently using NeoStrata Glycolic Renewal (w/ 10% glycolic acid) but, I don't feel like I'm seeing any benefits and would like to use a better quality product.
Background: I'm 35yrs old, have dry/combination, sensitive skin that experiences dry patches around the chin and nose area, (the dry patches are very hard to hydrate - no matter what I seem to use, and almost peel off in large flakes). I currently use Yonka milk cleanser, Yonka gommage, Ren Evercalm moisturizer (both the day and night formulas), and Laneige Water Bank serum.
What would you guys suggest for an 'acid newb' w/ my skin type? Also open to suggestions on better daily skincare products too.
TIA!!! |

I know it sounds lame but try ice on your face. Though I use face mask, I always use ice on my face which helps any pimples and other unwanted thingy that grows in my face |

Have you tried a gentle scrub to remove the flakes and let the moisturizer work? Masks might help you as well. The Neostrata might be drying your skin. |
