Hi everyone!
I think this is my 1st post here.
I've been reading the forum for quite a lot and every day I love it more and more. You girls, with all the experiences and ideas you give, make an incredible place here.
I am becaming very interested in Facial exercices, as I have aged a lot in the last year.
I have CFS and probably Hypothiroidism and because of this my face looks very tired. Everything is starting to sag down.
One of the worst areas (I don´t know if this is because the illness or my glasses) is my under eyes hollows. 4 years ago I will look good with contact lenses where now I look quite ugly.
I have learn from you that is best to work all the face areas, not just the ones you want to improve.
Having said this I will like to know which/s program (or exercise), in your opinion, adresses HOLLOW EYES and in your experience (as an ex-hollow eyer) really works for that.
Thanks a lot!

Hi Maria_Moreno:
Welcome aboard! I'm glad you got the message about the importance of working the whole face and not spot-training.
There have been a few discussions on natural ways for filling in the hollows under the eyes (tear troughs). So while you wait for someone who has personally fixed the problem to see your thread and hopefully chime in, I will paste one such discussion below in case any of the info therein helps:

Thanks a lot Nonie.
I only knew a few words refering my under hollowed eyes and now thanks to your likn I have learn a few other ways to call it, like "Sunken eyes"
That will help me a lot in my research.
I had a look at all the info you gave me and I think I will choose the exercise program that suits me better (in general) and once I get the control of my muscles (if I getn to that point) I will look to improve that area (if hasn´t improve by then) |

Hi everyone!
I want to start doing Face Exercises. I want it badly, because I´m suffering premature aging and I don´t like it a bit.
So... I have read a lot here (thanks for all the info you girls rock!) and now I know the main Exercises Programs. I know any one of them are good stuff.
I have:
- Tyred looking face. My face is changing because of this. This is because I have CFS(and probably Hypothyroid)
- Sunken eyes and a bit of hooded top eyelid.
- My neck is starting to sag. I have a bit of that thing you call turkey neck.
I want to start with a program that is good, but not too "hardcore" Just want to make my face to look more alive, don´t want (for now) build extra cheeks. And once I get the control (if I can) I will see if I want to change this or that, try something more hardcore, etc.
The most important thing to me is to look AS ME a few years ago.
I really dislike the surprise look in some of the photos of the programs. Really wide open eyes all the time. Too open for my taste. I will scare my boyfriend.
My eyes have an almond shape and I don´t want to loose that.
Thanks all!
(Ups! sorry this was meant to be on a separate post. Don´t know how to delete it, sorry) |

Hi Maria,
I'm by no means face exercise expert, but I would suggest that you look into massage route as well.
Some time ago I tried to rectify early signs of ageing with face exercises, but failed miserably. After that I started focusing more on massage and managed to greatly fix what was bothering me. I swear by Vaculifter! That's an amazing little suction gadget that only requires few minutes of your time. One version comes with a small cup for eye area as well, but I would advise you to massage the whole face. |

Interesting, thanks Agatha! Sorry for the super late response, I just sow this while searching in old emails. I will investigate that device as massage sounds really interesting to me. |
