Hi,
Has anyone has experience dissolving lip injections? About 6 weeks ago I had Juverderm Vollure injected into my lips and they look awful. I've had juverderm twice before by a different doctor and was very happy with the results. This last time I went to a new doctor and am extremely unhappy with the way my lips look. I was thinking about getting them dissolved but have read mixed reviews online. I really don't want to wait a year for this stuff to dissipate by itself but am worried about making it even worse. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you! |

I have tiny lips and almost no upper lip at all. I wanted just a tiny bit of fullness put into my upper lip. The PS injected a full syringe of juvederm into my upper lip and I look RIDICULOUS. Like a character from the Simpsons. For those thinking about having this stuff injected... be careful! It's easier to add more, but hard to take it away. |

That's exactly how I feel! I want this stuff dissolved but unfortunately I'm having trouble finding someone with the experience to do it. So far the only option given to me is massage and time. I wish I had never gone to a new doctor. What was I thinking?! |

I am so sorry this happened to you.
I had Dysport injected and the nurse didn't know WTH she was doing. She injected too close to my eyes and I ended up with both my lids nearly shut. It is now over a year later and one eye is almost closed when I get up in the am.
I had some luck with using a heavy handheld body massager on my forehead above my eye. I pressed firmly and it seemed to help. I don't know if this would work on your lips, but at least it's something to try.
I will never allow anyone near my eyes again with Dysport or Botox. |
