hello
i'm a 17 yr old boy with a severe sunburn problem. my skin tans really easily. i've been suffering from this problem since childhood. as a result my face, neck and the forearms(the exposed parts when i go out in the sun) gradually started darkening and now they have become very dark. the darkness never fades and it is permanent. is there any way i can get my original complexion back(though it's been a long time now) or will i have to live with this skin forever.
thanks for your advice

For your face you might want to try something with Hydroquinone (an effective bleaching agent). The Peter Thomas Roth Potent Skin Lightening Gel Complex with Hydroquinone is supposed to be very good www.essentialdayspa.com/peterthomasroth_lighteners_acne.htm
For your body you could try a whitening body lotion. Shiseido has one as do many asian brands (like Kose, Kanebo etc). I think even Nivea has one, but from posts on this forum the asian ones sound like they work better for people.
Finally, without using a high SPF sunscreen all your whitening efforts will go to waste.
