I recently started using the Eve Lom cleanser. At first everything was great, but at the moment my skin is breaking out (this is a frequent problem for me). I don't think it is the cleanser, I think it is a combination of stress and poor diet at the moment.
In addition to spots, I find that I have somewhat dry skin when I wake up in the morning, particularly on my cheeks, and I am looking for a moisturiser to wear during the day (I have been using nothing but the cleanser since I started using it, I was trying to reduce the number of products I layered onto my face). I looked first at the Dr. H Normalising Day Oil, but I am not sure if it would be right for my skin. I am sure that someone on this site has either an opinion on the Oil, or a recommendation for something else. I should probably mention, I can see the beginning of fine lines to go along with the spots; I would have thought that I would be beyond breakouts at this stage.
Thank-you so much for your help. |

Emma-hawk,
Normalising day oil is not for dry skin, it is designed for oily skin so would make your dry skin drier ( I believe).
You could mix a dry skin moisturiser with a breakout control product, especially if the breakout product on its own would make your skin drier. Maybe mix Yonka Juvenil (I havent tried this but I have heard it is fantastic for clearing skin) in your palm with some dry skin moisturiser (if you want to try Dr.H go for the moisturising day cream, rose day cream or toned day cream maybe) and rub into face as normal. hopefully will control breakout and dryness at once- I think this sort of thing has worked for people before.
Also, do you drink much water? adding a little more each day can help your skin, but apparently you don't need two full litres. Just increase your intake a bit.
Good luck

If you do a search of the forums (fora?fori? ) there will be heaps of stuff on Juvenil. I read (I think by chunlisa, she is Yonka girl mega) that it may cause a breakout at first (due to purge of skin) but afterwards will be fine.
Good luck!

I would recommend the YonKa Juvenil as well. You can use this under your usual moisturiser and it also not drying. Smells a bit funny but it works very well to clear up pimples etc |
