I must admit, that I had ordered this product with great expectations. I've never had a colored mascara before and I thought teal would really bring out my gray/blueish/greenish eyes. I was rather let down. I have a gripe with both the color and the lengthening effect.
First of all it doesnt really look like anything I considered 'teal' to be. It's more of a muted mossy green in my opinion. I have dark lashes so it made my lashes much less visible than if I were wearing no mascara at all. It might be ok for someone (perhaps a light blonde) looking for a subtle effect, but it's not good if you want dark lashes.
Secondly, it didn't make my lashes any longer than they originally were! So basically it made me look worse than before....I consider this a waste of money!
The ingredients as listed on box: Aqua (purified water), beeswax, copernicia cerifera (camauba) wax, cyclomethicone, propylene glycol, PVP, glyceryl stearate, hydrolyzed wheat protein, stearic acid, cellulose, carboxymethyl, cellulose, trisodium EDTA, phenoxyethanol, titanium dioxide. May contain iron oxides.
I should also note that I am a bit of a stickler about using 'all natural' products, but I took an exception to try out this color mascara. When I tried this product it irritated my lashline and made it tender.
Bottom line: not recommended. |

Jane Iredale? Oh I'm getting so disheartened! I thought the JI products were natural??? |

The JI powder mineral products are natural, although I have heard some bad things about titanium dioxide which is in practically every mineral makeup, natural powder based eyeshadows and natural foundations I have seen (with the exception of silken earth foundation by Aubrey Organics). |
