Hello everyone,
Most skin products don't have expiration dates on them so how long do you keep them for before you deem them useless? I found a Clarins after sun lotion in my drawer and I bought it a year ago but will the ingredients still be "active"?
There should be no harm in applying a product even though it's been over a year? Also, we don't know how long something has been sitting on a shelf in a store so does that factor in? |

For products that do have an expiry date, I chuck them shortly after the date has passed. With others, I try not to have any open products for over a year. The time also depends on how the product is packaged - something in a tub vs something in an air-tight pump etc |
