I have broken out in tiny pimples under my eye area, they are almost rash like and I don't know what has caused them. I used moisturel lotion on my face, maybe it was too rich for my skin. The pimples are kinda sore which makes my eye area tender. Has anyone had this problem, and if so how did you treat it? |

Yes I get this sometimes - mainly when I don't wash off my eye make-up, and then it get's into the creases. I also get them if I use an eye cream overnight that is too rich for me. It tends to go away by itself otherwise I just keep it clean and put some of my normal moisturiser (Dr H Normalising Day Oil ) on it. |

Moosette, you should never use any face moisturizer around your eye area, they ARE too rich for this sensitive area. Always use an eye cream. And, by the way, I'm speaking from experience, I had to learn the hard way also |

If they are just whiteish hard bumps then that would be millia - you can get that from using creams (including eye creams) that are too rich for the eye area. A quick way to make it go away is to dab an eye cream with AHAs directly onto the spot.
If the bumps are red and perhaps even a bit itchy then it sounds like some sort of irritation. I actually get something like this (slightly red bumps and a bit uncomfortable and sometimes even itchy) when I'm really stressed. It tends to go away and I usually apply Dr Hauschka Rose Day Cream over it to help it heal without peeling. |

What kind of AHA cream would you Recomend I use Mabsy?

Aga - I find that the MD Formulations Vit-a-Plus one works very well. I have a 10ml tube of it that came with the starter kit for combo skin. I don't use the cream on a regular basis (I'm afraid it would be too harsh for me at this stage) but I pull it out when I (or one of my friends) has millia. |
