HI!
I was reading about milia and found out that it can be caused by oily make-up removers.
Can you recomend a gentle oil free eye make-up remover?
Thanks!

Yesterday I went to the drugstore and got Almay Oil-free eye make-up remover, and it was terrible!
IT stunk like nail polish remover and was totally drying to the skin around the eyes
I DO need your advice here as what to try next!

Hi Aga,
I've used the Body Shop's Camomile Eye Makeup Remover for years, and I use it all over my face to remove my water resistant makeup.
It has a subtle scent and I've not had any problems such as breakouts or sensitivity to it. |

I like the one by Bare Escentuals for about $15USD, although I can’t recall the name. In the bottle, there’s a layer of blue liquid and a layer of clear liquid and you shake it to “activate” it. But my all-time fave oil-free makeup remover is from Ultima II (completely clear liquid) at $13.99USD for 3.6 ounces. |

Thanks so much for the recomendations!!!
I have been eyeballing the Body Shop Remover for while now, and its great to hear that it has been working so well for you BadBird
Looks like it would be a good choice!
CareKate,
I would like to look into the Ultima remover! Since its your all time fave it has to be good!
Do you know by any chance where I could get it?
Thanks again!

By any chance, do you have an ULTA store near you? I know they carry the Ultima II line. JC Penneys and Wagreens also used to carry Ultima II, but I haven’t seen it there recently. I’m sure you can always order it online. If you can’t find the Ultima II, the BE eye makeup remover is my 2nd fave and I’m sure you can get it from Sephora, Ulta and probably right here from EDS (QVC also carries BE products, so they could have it too! That’s where I used to order all of my BE products until I discovered that Ulta carried the line, and then I became too impatient to wait for a package to arrive in the mail!!).... |

Don't mention it!
Do post your review about the Body Shop one if you do get it. I was in Florida recently and I got 3 bottles of it for half price! I wanted to lug like one dozen home but it was the last 3 bottles on the shelf! |

Hehehe
I so know what you mean, I hate waiting for products in the mail when you go and pick it up yourself!
Thank you for mentioning Ulta I have right around the corner from where I live! And they carry urban decay as well! They have great eyeshadow colors!

Aga - I can definitely second the Body Shop eye makeup remover as well. It's very good.
Mind you, I've been using cleansing oils around the eye area and have not had any problems at all. I'm not prone to millia but do get them if I continually use an eye cream that is too rich. Continual use of cleansing oils around the eye area does not seem to give me millia though. |

BB,
I will review the remover as soon as I get it
I went to ulta and they didnt have the UII remover in stock, so my next try is going to be the the Body Shop
Mabsy,
I was wondering about the cleansing oils around the eye. I was looking into Barbor and Decleor, but I guess the idea of an "OIL" near the eye scared me away
But it's great to know that they dont cause any problems

Hey hey,
I got the UII in the end! Very VERY happy with it! Removes all the make-up without the irritation! WOOHOO!
