Trying to find something I can leave on after Nuface treatment. Aloe dries my skin horribly and I dislike the Nuface products. I use Neutrogena HydroBoost moisturizer (oil-free) and wondered if this would work? |

I remember reading that oils aren't recommended because they can interfere with conductivity and accumulate under and around the silver tips (can't think of the correct name for them!) Oils also will eventually turn rancid if not properly cleaned from the unit. |

It has Dimethicone in it, do you think that would be an issue with the Nuface? |

I think it should be possible, and some products can also be, for example, aloe vera gel and so on. Thin and mobile cosmetics will be more suitable. Aloe vera gel should be the most suitable one. |

Aloe dries my skin horribly. That’s why I’m trying to use an oil free moisturizer. |

I'm having an awful reaction to the Nuface prep gel on my neck. It is stinging me and now my skin is rough and red, and irritated feeling. I wash off the gel immediately after the treatment. I've only had this nuface device for 4 sessions (4 days) but I don't see myself using the leave on prep gel anymore, and will look for the alternative posted above.
Sadly I bought the big size of the prep gel from amazon and now have to get rid of it unused!!
Also, how about coconut oil as the conductive agent? TIA |

You can't use anything with any type of oil in it. A lot of people use 100% aloe gel. Aloe dries my skin so I don't use that.
I've been using the hydroboost mentioned above. |

I use Spectra 360 Electrode Gel Parker Laboratories. It's salt free and works great. Bought on Amazon. Found it while researching alternatives to the NuFace Gel.
I find aloe dries my skin out and it also dries so quickly, have to constantly rewet with water to use with microcurrent. |
