Hi there I've been using 4% hydroquinone for about 7 months prescribed by a doctor for age spots it's worked great and now I'm stopping it as feel it's done it's job. I only used a small amount on face and neck at night.
The problem is I've terrified myself by reading that it could cause cancer and I'm suffering bad with anxiety at the minute so I'm in a state.I emailed dermatica where I get it from.and the dermatologist says it's completely safe and been used for 50 years .
Have any of use used it and am I being silly .
Thanks

Hi Marcia,
I can totally understand your concerns with using hydroquninone. It has actually been shown to cause cancer and other issues like skin discoloration over time. Have you thought about using more natural alternatives such as CBD or tea tree oil?
It will take a bit of time to see the results, but if you use it consistently, you will see a difference. If you use a few drops of these oils with a carrier oil such as coconut or jojoba oil for scars, it will help greatly improve the appearance.
Hope this helps and good luck |
