As we are approaching sandal season I thought I should start thinking about taking care of my feet a bit more .
At the moment my regime is a bit hit and miss:
Scholl Rough Skin Remover footscrub once a week.
Flexitol heel balm every few days.
Have a Tweezerman thingy which is a bit like a potato peeler for your feet that I use every week or so.
Paint them with Chanel Rouge Noir if I can be bothered.
Can anyone suggest a simple routine or good foot products for me to try that will make a difference? They need to be fairly quick and easy to make sure I maintain the routine, and they need to give good visible results.
I also spotted a product called Pedikur on QVC which is meant to dissolve away any hard skin - anyone got any experiences of this one?
Thanks girls
**happybunny looks forward to buying new sandals very soon** |

Pedikur is great and really works. Leaves feet in great shape and I much prefer it to the scraping and filing away of hard skin. |

Diamancel #11 Tough Buffer foot file or the less-expensive equivilents made by Luxor or Ms. Manicure have returned my feet to baby-softness. Click on this link to read my head-to-head comparison of the Diamancel and Luxor foot files: http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=5113&highlight=luxor I had one of those foot "cheese grater" files, too, but those don't even compare with a diamond foot file.... |

I thoroughly recommend the diamond foot files! Carrie sent me one of the Ms Manicure ones and it's great (thanks again Carrie!). It really takes off all the dead skin and reduces it to dust. I'd recommend that and then slathering some thick moisturiser on your feet overnight (and possibly wrapping your feet in clingwrap and then putting on socks ). You'll wakte up with baby soft feet!
ps. Carrie - strangest thing! I went to K-Mart last night and saw that they actually carry the Ms Manicure range here! But, guess what... They seem to have every single one of their products APART from the diamond foot file. I have also not seen any diamond foot files in other brands stocked here so I've come to the conclusion that for some reason that are not being sold here even though technically the stock should be available to the distributors. |
