Hey! Thanks EDS for your speedy delivery! =D came right in time for my sports meet where the sun was blistering blistering hot!
Anyway, the skinceuticals gentle foaming cleanser I ordered is really good. Removes whatever "gunk" on my face really well. I'd like to know though, when it says apply a small amount, how much is that exactly. It foams up from the liquid form so I don't really know whether its a bit of the liquid form, or a bit of the foam form. If i use just a bit of the foam form, about half a pump, it seems to be to little as it "defoams" very fast and theres not much to go around. If i pump one full time, theres q alot of foam and it cleans up well BUT it seems to use up alot according to the marking on the bottle. so how much exactly? Please tell me =)
Also, i got a sample of the Vit C Serum 20! I'd like to know if its ok to use on skin which has spots. Will it break me out? Also, my skin is a little red on the cheeks i think due to previous acne marks, will using it help? How many drops do i put?
Srry for asking so many questions! But once again, i must say EDS is really great. My next order will def be from here.
One more thing before i leave =p
I MUST SAY, the skinceuticals sunscreen (ultimate uv defence spf 30) is great. upon application, it might be greasy but it kinda soaks into skin after a while. If not, powder over it and it'll be find. oh yes, one more thing! The jane iredale pressed mineral base is reaally reaaally great too! Does not run when i sweat, superb superb superb.
Oh well, sorry if it seems i'm gushing. well i am! hehe. but just really really glad! Thank you!!! |

I use a full pump of the foaming cleanser. you're right that half is too little....
Serum 20 can be used by oily/acne skin. I use the 10 because my skin is sensitive and can dry out easily. I think I may have gottten a couple zits from it to start with b/c it is an antioxidant, but nothing too serious, and nothing that lasted long. |

tynkerbell - the vitamin C serum should be fine to use, although, as with any product, there is always a chance of a breakout I suppose. I've never had any problems with any of the vitamin C serums I've tried. The vit C serum should actually help with the post-acne scarring as it does help heal the skin. In fact, I have found that using a vitamin C serum in combination with the Dermalogica Microfolicant seems to fade my post-blemish redness faster. |

There are people that believe that toner is essential (restores pH of the skin and gets rid of any last traces of dirt etc) and there are those that don't. I don't think it's critical to use toner but I use it anyway because I like how my skin feels after I use it |

Tynkerbell-
Your skin sounds a little combination-ish: mine is generally oily but sometimes feels dry. Many here would recommend a homemade apple cider vinegar toner, but at the moment I am using thalgo pure radiance tonic lotion, which i am impressed with. It is not drying like other ones but is designed for combination skin. This and the pure radiance cleanser by Thalgo I am very impressed with, although i now need something to control the oiliness.
Am going off track tho! I am going to try the appple cider toner after I finish this one, but I have to say I am very impressed with it.
Hope this helps a bit
