How often should I apply eye cream on average and is there such a thing as too much product use?

Depends on your skin type and age.
On average at least twice a day. I apply morning and night but I use two different types.
For daytime, I use a lighter quick absorption gel and at night a heavier cream.
There are some really good ones out there that EDS carries. Dermalogica brand has a few of my favorites.

On average, it is recommended that you apply eye cream twice daily - once in the morning and once in the evening. This will help to ensure that your skin is getting the necessary nutrients and hydration to keep it healthy and moisturized. The amount of product that you use should be based on the size and sensitivity of your skin, as well as the particular type of eye cream that you are using. Generally speaking, you should use a pea-sized amount for both eyes, and you should avoid rubbing the product into your skin as this can cause irritation. If you find that too much eye cream causes irritation or dryness, then you should reduce the amount that you are applying.
