I stopped by my spa who carries Skinceuticals and Dermalogica. My aesthetician recommend the Skinceuticals Cleansing Cream, Eye Cream and C&E Ferulic Serum. I don't have a moisturizer, and I'm wondering what to use for fine lines. I'm 42, and over the past five years my skin has really changed. I do have some past sun damage. She gave me samples of Dermalogica's new Power Rich. I like that pretty well, but I'd like to stick to the Skinceuticals line. She was kind of hurried. I didn't know Skinceuticals made a toner until I looked at this website. I love what I have so far. Any ideas? Thanks.
Edited to add, I just tried a sample of Skinceuticals Daily Moisture moisturizer, and couldn't wait to wash it off. I then reapplied my sample of Dermalogica's Power Rich over the Skinceuticals serum. I much prefer this one -- she must really know me. I would have never picked this one on my own. |

Hi
I have just started using skinceuticals and I love the range - I have combination skin. I was luck enough to get a booklet on the skinceutical range and the moisturize products for dry skin it suggests the Emollience, Renew Overnight dry and the Hydrating B5 Gel. Good luck and I hope you enjoy the range |

Hi,
I have been using Skinceuticals (SC) C+E for a year and I really like it. I can not use Emollience though. It is too rich for me, so I am putting it on my throat. I have not found a good moisturizer. I just use SC's sun block over C+E. I wonder if it is moist enough for my skin. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Rose |

Hi Rose,
What is your skin type? My aesthetician recommended either SC Daily Moisture, or Dermalogica's Power Rich to me after I mentioned I wanted something that was firming.
The SC Daily Moisture may be enough for you. Actually it's fairly hydrating without leaving a residue or anything.
I just got spoiled with the Dermalogica Power Rich. But the price may keep me away. |

HI ammwv,
I am not sure what my skin type is. My legs are extremely dry. My black trousers are full of white skin flakes all the time, but I am using skin care products on my face all the time, so my face is not as dry as my legs. I guess my skin type must be neutral. When I was in my teens, I never had problem with acne.
I will give Dermalogica Power Rich a try.
Thank you,
Rose |
