I use my toothbrush too! But a freind of mine, who apparently has sensitive lips and cannot brush her lips, uses a face cloth in the shower. I have tried that too, and it works just as well , just takes a little longer. |

I have used a few different ways (just a matter of what comes handy) and they all worked quite good for me, so I guess it's a matter of being creative? My favourite is:
1) vaseline + sugar
2) using my normal face scrub but mixing more water (so I do it at the same time when I do face scrub)
and now, I will try baking soda and water too! |

Thanks, rere.
I saw a tv program the other night. They used white sugar and molasses for a body polish. I think we may need to combine the kitchen and bathroom soon |

If you like to fool around with homemade body scrubs, you can also substitute coffee for the sugar or salt
normally called for. Not only does it smell good (at least to those who are java-lovers), but apparently the caffeine in the coffee helps break down cellulite cells....
BTW, I know this seems like just plain ole’ common sense, but I wanted to point out that if you use any topical lip plumpers (i.e.: LipFusion, CityLips, LipVenom, etc), remember that exfoliating your lips with any vaseline/suger, oil/sugar or lip balm/sugar scrub will leave a residue on your lips (which is great in terms of moisturizing benefits!!) which could prevent the lip plumper from penetrating your lip tissue, so remember to thoroughly wipe your lips to remove the vaseline/oil/balm before applying your LipFusion or other plumper, otherwise you’re just wasting the product. |

I started with Mary Kay years ago and liked it, graduated to Smashbox's &Garden Botanika and now I sell one, almost exactly like GB but cheaper. Works great prior to putting on fresh lipstick. |
