lorrapaw - my mum is rather fond of the Dr Irena Eris line but I don't think she's tried that particular cream. In fact it's hard to say what she's tried because I no longer have the packaging plus I think it was actually in another language (she bought it Europe). Btw, no the JB Couperose Cream is not sold on EDS. The JB spa items are only available through the JB site (as far as I know). |

Hello
I havnet noticed much change anymore, it seemed like after the 1st 4 weeks the results kind of stopped
It shrunk the cap , but it's still there so far. However its much less noticable. And this cream is a good hydrator as well so either way I am happy with it
I wonder how the laser works for broken caps as well. How many treatments do you need to make them completely disappear?

thanks for the update, Aga!
As for how many IPL treatments, It depends on the laser used. the older ones it can take between 4-7 treatments, somewhere in there. My dermatologist just got a brand new laser, and what used to take 4 treatments can be done in two. Actually, this particualar laser, is supposed to be able to do 3 treatments worth in one. Also there are different kinds of IPL machines. However, I believe, Even with the new ones, Even though it may clear it up in one treatment you should go twice to make the results permanent. The only personal experience I have had with IPL, Was with an older photoderm IPL, But I only went once, so really I spent the money for nothing because it wasn't enough to do anything. I plan to do it again when I get the money. With the new Laser( sorry , I don't remember the name, but Will get back to you with it), My derm said It should only take two treatments because it is very effective, and if it is not cleared up by then, there are free touch ups. I plan to save the money to get the two treatments and actually do it right this time |

i get photofacials frequently and they are very good for redness/broken capillaries..i asked the guy who does my face if there is any products out there that can illiminate/reduce redness or broken capillaries and he said no..Not only this, but a lot of those products used over time can make it even worse:s. same with products for rosacea..i hear that they work good short term..but used long term actually make you look worse. thats a bit messed up to me, therefore i just use gentle products and now my skin is a lot clearer. |

also, replying to the cost of removing broken capularies...theres many different lasers out there...i get normal photofacials..originally i was to get 7 for 1,000..but the place i go they care a lot about their patients..I'm very fair so im on the weakest setting..so i go in a bit more and my skins much better. I wish i knew the name of the other laser that a different dermotologist was going to use on me..He was going to do only 3 treatments on me.but it was a lot more intense, and would cost only 600. since i HATE redness, i might go to him after i get done with these. what scared me off was that he said there would be mild to severe bruising on my face. and that he would give me makeup for it..now that my skin is better im sure i wouldnt need as many treatments..and the bruising wouldnt be so harsh. |

Price can really vary. my derm used to charge $100 per treatment. Now it is $350 with the new laser, but it requires less treatments, and then free touch ups. I know that many do not offer the free touch ups, so if you need more than the initial assesment, you pay every time. That is why I chose my dermatologist |
