Hi:
I am still looking for a good, non drying, non creasing concealer for undereyes. Any one?

If you check out makeupalley.com, the new concealer from MAC - moistureconceal(?) or something like that is getting raves as being the best under eye concealer under the sun! Not too expensive either....
It's made it to my "to try" list.
Sounds good, and I'm not a big MAC fan. (unless you're talking about real Big Macs from Mcdonalds!!! lol!)

JI Circle/Delete 2 comes in 2 shades, I am using the lighter colour, the texture is a little bit dry but never create a line under my eyes. |

Just wondering if you could use the JI circle/deleate to cover spots and blemishes as well? I know you are supposed to use the Disappear but am not keen on liquid type concealers. |

Honestly, I lovelovelove the Circle/Delete as a concealer. It's really a lot like the Bobbi Brown concealer, except that it has amazing staying-power with the added benefit of being mineral based. I use a concealer brush to apply it and never have to touch up at all during the day. Even if I take a nap it doesn't rub off! So I really am a big fan. Fortunately I haven't had to use much at a time (just a spot or two depending on the time of the month and the amount of stress I have, but the eyes everyday), but from what I have used it blends very very well (I actually prefer it as a concealer more than I do for the eyes.)
I'm like you, I don't care much for liquid concealers (although I'm curious enough to give the Disappear a shot...) I think the worst I've ever used was the Estee Lauder. Man, that stuff was a mess. Messy tube... messy finger... blech!! |

yes, you can use it to cover spots but I wouldn't recommend to put on acne. |

JI is Jane Iredale and they make Disappear.
The concealer I swear by is the famous YSL Touche Eclait.... works for me. |

I really like Jane Iredale Circle Delete. It's very creamy and each pot comes in two shades. It's great stuff!
I wouldn't use it for covering up spots though, I haven't tried though. I would either use the Disappear or just some loose mineral foundation applied with a fine tip brush to the blemish (on well moisturised skin). |

I don't consider the YSL Touche Eclat to be a proper concealer. In fact, this is actually supposed to be a hilighter. It does work to soften dark circles if you have faint ones but does not actually provide coverage the way a concealer would. I do have the Touche Eclat and only use it when the dark circles are super faint. If I had a late night I'll use the JI Circle/Delete and then maybe the YSL over that. |

I tried using Bare Escentuals multi tasking in bisque to cover a little shaowing under my eyes - this seemed to work, if it had of been a much lighter shade it would have worked perfectly.
Am trying to come up with what I can do with this stuff |

Maybe mix it with a BE blush, or all over face powder...or eyeshadow |

I was wondering, are there any mineral-based undereye concealers "other" than the circle/delete?
I've been using it for 2 years now, and even though I'm okay with it (I still prefer it as an occasional concealer for blemishes!), I do get some bad creasing. At first I thought it was because my eyes were dehydrated (I use the Murad essential C eye cream in the morning, and the Orlane Cooling Eye Balm at night) but now I'm not so sure. But when I'm out and about and I look at myself in a mirror under a fluorescent light, I have to pat at the crease lines to make it blend better, and my skin looks really dry there (only with the concealer on, though.) I've tried using the Orlane in the morning, or layering them, and I get the same effect.
I really want an undereye concealer that I'll be happy with, and I've been trying hard to like this one more than I do, I guess. I'll gladly stick with it if there's nothing else (my eyes are pretty sensitive, anyway...)
But... are there any good alternatives? |

I was hoping that the Circle Delete would be my HG but sadly it does nothing for me . It feels greasy on me and has no staying power.. not that it matters I suppose because it turns out translucent on me.. |

Hi appyone,
i am also looking for the best concealer for myself. i have dark circles PLUS eyebags! i went to sephora today and the makeup artist helped me with a few. i got tony and tina herbal eye base. its got apple seed extract and green tea (all natural) suppose to heal your circle while you use it. the other one i got is amazing cosmetics, amazing concealer. its very very concentrated, just ONE lil dot was enough for my undereye area. i just got them today so i hope they can be the perfect concealer i have been looking for. YSL is good (not so perfect for heavy dark circles) bobby brown is also good, (i am still using!! but i m excited to use all the new stuff i got!) and.. what else.. acturally, theres one i found in cvs was revlon, concealer anti-cernes which was surprisingly good. its got a very very smooth texture and comes in 2 tones for you to mix. you can probably give that a try(its cheap anyway)
good luck!! |
