How often should Epidermx be used? Once a week? Twice a week? Should you "jumpstart" it by using it more often for a week or two and then maintain the result by using it weekly?
I certainly don't want to overuse it, but I do want to get the best possible results. |

I found this on goldportbeauty.com
How do I use Epidermx™ microdermabrasion pro-treatment?
On a clean, moist face apply about a dime size amount of the cream and massage it into the skin for 3-5 minutes. Work on a different section of the face each time. If you have an area where you tend to break out, have blackheads, scars, lines or pigment changes, you may work those areas alone longer. As the cream base is absorbed, the crystals and your dead skin cells will begin to "ball up" and fall off. Rinse well with tepid water and pat dry. Use it in this manner as a treatment for 2 or 3 times a week. If you don't see the dead skin cells roll up and fall off, you're just exfoliating. Pat dry your face a tad more, massage it again until the dead skin cells ball up and flake off.
You may also use it nightly as an exfoliant scrub for 15-30 seconds in combination with a once or twice a week treatment. There is a cumulative effect that occurs with regular usage. It is safe to use on any external body surface. Each time you use this product you will notice something different. There will be a difference in the clarity, tone and texture of your skin. Lines and scars begin to smooth out, pores become smaller, the skin is firmer. There is no need to use a toner after this product. It leaves the skin at the perfect pH level. Just apply Silkia™ camellia oil and prepare to wake up with soft, smooth and glowing skin in the morning! |

hi there,
it really depends on your skin. It you are dry I would use 1-2x a week, if you are oily 2-3x, if you are breaking out with acne possibly 1x until your face calms down.
I am 43 with dry-dehydrated skin and use 1-2x a week. I shoot for 2. hth |

Thanks so much. In the summer my skin is pretty much normal, but it tends to get dry in the winter when humidity is low. I will try it twice a week and see what I think. If it seems like too much than I will only use it once a week.
Thanks for your help! |
