I use the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer.

It feels like silk when you put it on. It does make your foundation glide on and gives a nice even courage, but I wouldn't say that it makes it last that much longer.

Ive just started using the Smashbox Photo Finish primer too and am pleased with the feel of it. I definitely think it makes my foundation blend in a lot easier and smoother coverage but am not sure if it drastically extends wear as they report. My skin is fairly oily though... maybe on a drier skin.
I used to use Mirenesse Professional Make up primer ( slightly green in colour) and I can recommend that one too. I just felt like a chaneg and bought several Smashbox products on a recent TV launch here in Australia.
Nars primer ... used to have that one too but that seriously was just like a moisturiser to me... felt no other effects.

Hi Muzzie

I have dry skin but it doesn't make the foundation last any longer - just feels lovely.

I used to use the Laura Mercier primer and found that was also very good. Think I prefer the Smashbox though.

Hi Cheeks,
( hehe dont we have cute names!) Huh... I often linger over Laura Mercier counters and think I want to try that but I actually feel a bit better that you prefer the Smashbox one to hers. Smile I wasnt sure whether to get it when it was on the TV a couple of weeks ago ...price wise it's fairly dear here at about 65 Aussie dollars.
It really does do a much better job than the Nars one though. That really did just look and feel like a light, creamy white lotion moisturiser, no increase in blendability or slip of makeup in application...nor in wear.
Love their blushers but was disappointed in the Nars primer. Shock

I've tried Clarins Perfect Makeup Start which is quite good.

A more expensive brand which I liked was the La Prairie Caviar line.

By Terry's Skin Colour Enhancer is another great product.
