Hi!
I currently use MD Forte Level II cleanser and love it but it's quite difficult to get hold of in the UK (and if you can its nearly £50!!?! Shock ), I have tried MD Formulations but wasn't as keen on it as the Forte. What other wash off glycolic cleansers can any one recommend?
I would like something with a good level of Glycolic as my skin seems to react well to this by staying lovely and clear and no flaky bits!
For info' my skin is very fair and freckly, is normal while using Forte but prone to be a bit dehydrated and with an oily T zone with some congestion and breakout when not using Glycolics and Vit C! Like I say when using the regimen it's normal but I suspect if I went to a more main stream drug store approach it would revert!!! Rolling Eyes
Thanks!

edited to add - PS - Just thought I'd mention I had looked at the DDF brightening cleanser - does anyone know what the % glycolic is in it?

I have heard that Jan Marini Bilglycolic Cleanser is almost identical to MD Forte's. I do not know the percentage of Glycolic.

Hi, I've used the MD Forte Level cleanser and am currently using Jan Marini Bioglycolic Cleanser. This product has more of a lotion feel and is appropriate for all skin types, although it is quite strong.
Marini also makes a Bioglycolic Oily Skin Cleansing Gel. This is more of a foamy cleanser and I like it better for my oily skin. Another line you might be interested in is Glytone. My derm recommends this line and I used for many years. I'm a product slut and so I am currently trying other lines, but Glytone is very well priced, has a high level of glycolics and I'm thinking that most of these clesnsers, when they get to a certain level, are all about the same. Glytone products can be purchased through: http://www.dermstore.com/
They ship internationally. joani

I've used the MD Formulations Glycolic cleanser and, while it was very effective, I didn't like it because of the texture and how bland it was. I then tried the one by PCA skin and I much prefer this one. It's just as effective for me but seems to be less drying. It's still bland but I do prefer it to the MDF.
