I can't find the thread now, but I'm pretty sure you mentioned that your daughter uses an SPF 30 or above.
Do you know what brand she uses? Since the Olay didn't work out, I'm trying to find something reliable. (Am now not so sure it was the sunblock, as I was using a new facial cleanser with an AHA that may have sent my skin over the edge sensitivity-wise.)
Must say I'm very unsure about what IS reliable after reading all the threads here.
Also, am interested in educating myself on the finer points of sunscreen that have been discussed. Is there a web site where you can read up on PPD (I can't remember if that's it) and etc.
Am using the Eucerin 30 SPF for sensitive skin as a stopgap, or maybe permanently if someone can verify that it's a good block. It's apparently a moisturizer, too, which I now understand can undermine the suncreen's effectiveness, even if it is composed of physcial blocks--zinc and TD.
I'm happy to go to a higher SPF but don't wear make-up, so want to avoid the ghost look, if possible. Don't want to have to use oil to remove it though, as is necessary for the Shiseido 50 or 50+ that I tried.
Thanks so much!! |

I didn't know Mabsy had a daughter.
I think Mabsy posted on a thread somewhere that she likes Kosmea Moisturising Lotion which is SPF30. |

Gah! I guess I'd better find that thread. I could've sworn it was Mabsy who referred to her daughter being ultra sun sensitive.
Thanks, Toe! |

Geez you scared me!
I don't have a daughter so I think you might have my post confused with someone else's. Unless I have multiple personalities that log on at different times and I'm not aware of it
I can recommend http://www.geocities.com/sunscreen_review2/ as a good starting point for info on sunblocks (and reviews of different ones). This site was developed by a one of the members of the Australian Vogue forums - she lives for sunblock |
