I have been using Decleor Hydrotensuer twice a day for a week now...I REALLY LIKE IT! I've notice a tightening under the eye (but not so much for the eyelid).
Anyway, this morning I noticed some "oil deposits" or something underneath my right eye. It just looks like some oil or fat or something is in the pores...they aren't hard or anything so I don't think it is milia (or is it?!)
What should I do? Do I need to use something to remove them or will they go away if I just stop using the Decleor on the inner eye? |

Sorry, where are they exactly? I'm having a hard time trying to figure it out from your description. I think you would know if it was millia - it would be a bump under the skin.
Could you maybe be using too much of the Hydrotenseur? |

the bumps are under the eye...on the inner corner...
they are very slight "bumps" not hard or anything...it almost looks like something is clogging the pores causing there to be little bumps
maybe the Decleor isn't good on younger skin.
In the last few days i have been trying to stay away from the inner corner of the eye...not sure if I have seen any change yet to the situation. |

Gosh - I don't know..they sound like milia...if they are milia, then just avoiding anything topical probably won't result in them disappearing...they are incredible persistent buggers...I've had good results using a bit of crushed aspirin with water dabbed on them - followed by gentle extraction after 3 or 4 days....I've also heard really good things about the Yonka eye treatment - which is supposed to really zap 'em...

I have no idea what to make of these. The inner corner of the skin under my eyes does go a bit bumpy and red sometimes but that's generally caused (for me) by stress. I have had a similar reaction to Chanel's Eye Tonic although that actually was also itchy and it stung. Perhaps stop using the eye cream or stay away from the inner corner and see if it clears up? |
