I know this isn't exactly a skin care question but i thought maybe someone might have had laser treatment here so why not ask...
Does anyone know if they can do laser hair removal on the eyebrows?

Well, seeing that I am very lazy and hate to go back to get my eyebrows done all the time, I did enquire a few years back about doing my underarms, lip, and eyebrows. I was told that the eyebrow laser hair removal could only be used between the brows and also to remove larger areas of stray hairs above/below the brow - but not to actually shape it. Like I said though, that was a few years back and perhaps things have changed from then.
The one thing I'd be worried about though is that the person who is doing the shaping with the laser is doing something permanent (eventually anyway) and if they think you look great with super-thin brows then you're stuck that way for ever (until they bring on eyebrow implants ). |

Hi there
I am currently having laser treatments, and while I live in Australia the clinic I go to have told me they do not touch the eyebrow area at all. It would probably be best to call one up and see what they say. HTH |

I think that they must shy away from the eye area for obvious reasons but i would like to find a laser clinic that would do over the brow - i'd settle for that. I'm not complaining of unibrow yet but am sure that with age that'll fill in too
Has anyone used the nair wax? (i think it's nair)it's a peel off wax that you don't need cloth strips for. I've seen it on TV but haven't seen it in stores in Canada yet. I wonder if that might be easier than using the standard wax - you would think so being that there's no cloth strip smearing the wax into places that you don't want it to go....
I'm just so tired of plucking i'm looking for any other method that will last longer...
Mabsy, I see what you mean about having someone do the laser and make the brow too thin, that's something you can't take back. I had someone pluck 'em like that once and it took forever to grow back in and look somewhat normal again. Now i tell them "i like my Brook Sheilds eyebrows, just clean 'em up" |
