Hello I've been using Dermalogica's Ultra Calming cleanser for a while now (over a year) and whilst I really like it, I've been told that you're only supposed to use it until your skin is de-sensitized and then you move onto another cleanser?? Does anyone know if this is correct? If so, any suggestions for a cleanser I could move onto (or alternate between). I do have an oily t-zone (especially my nose) and some icky blackheads that I'd like to get rid of (I'm sure we all would ) so something that would help with that, as well as clean off my make up? Without irritating my skin of course! I was thinking of trying Yonka Nettoyant Cleansing Gel, it seems to have good reviews. Does anyone know if it's ok for skin that's sometimes sensitive? I know a creamy cleanser/milk might be better but I'm scared of breaking out ( how silly, a grown woman scared of a new cleanser!!!). Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Oh one more thing, I was thinking maybe I could just keep using Ultra Calming but also add Dr H's cleansing cream afterwards?? Only problem with that is, when would I used my fave of all fave products, Daily Microfoliant? |

I'm not sure about the YonKa Gel Nettoyant for sensitive skin. In my opinion it was very gentle but then again I don't have sensitive skin so I can't promise you that it'll be fine. Meanwhile, I've finished off my bottle otherwise I'd be able to send you a sample (I'm also in Bris.). I would say though that if you don't have any problems with the Microfoliant then the YonKa gel should be fine.
I can identify with your problem - I have too many favorite products that work well with my skin. I think it would be good if you could try the cleansing cream (or the Jurlique one - they're very similar) but you should really either use that or the Microfoliant. |

Thanks Mabsy, I decided to go with Jurlique cleansing cream, I'll see how that goes and keep Yonka on my list of things to try. So exicted!! I love getting my EDS order (it's a big project for me - I'm on a major budget so I spent the whole week researching which products would be most beneficial, man have I read some reviews!! ). I really need to get a life |
