If you have uneven skin tone I think you should try a vitamin C serum - that will help protect the area from further damage and will also work to clarify the skin tone. I would also strongly suggest that you start using a sunblock during the day if you are not doing so already.
If it's actual spots that you're taking about then something like Skinceuticals Phyto Corrective Gel might be good for you. I've just recently read some good reviews of it. Have a look at the Product Reviews part of the forum (or do a search) and you should be able to find those posts. HTH. |

Well that depends on what you have - just uneven skintone or some actual marks? I think vit C will help fade the marks a little bit but I would recommend that just for protection and improving skin tone. If it's pigmentation only that you want to target then the Phyto+ or the corrective gel could be good options.
In terms of sunblock use in the UK - well I'm of the opinion that one should use sunblock anyway. I live in Australia so not using sunblock is simply not an option for me. However, just because you're not getting a tan does not mean that you're not getting invisible sun damage. That is just my view though and it may be extreme. Personally, I would use sunblock but I would probably just use an SPF15 or something like that.
Do you moisturise at all? If so then if you're lazy then I would suggest that you get a moistuirser with SPF in it instead of using a separate SPF. Your choice would depend on the type of skin you have. |

uk man, I live in misty cornwall and always use sunscreen. There is a huge hole in the ozone which regularly drifts over the uk so you should use block, not just for it's anti aging benefits, but also for protection from the extra radiation we suffer due to the hole. |
