I bought this paddle brush from beauty.com/drugstore.com for $16. I love it and have been using it every day since I received it about 2 weeks ago. It looks HUGE but turns out that it is perfect for my long hair, and it helps to separate and untangle my hair well. Its weight is also nice. I like a heavy brush. It seems very well-made.

The title says it's a boar & nylon bristle brush, but I don't see any boar bristle in this brush at all.
I'm also lemming the Conair porcupine brush that Carekate recommended. http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=161180&catid=83749&trx=GFI-0-PLTS&trxp1=83749&trxp2=161180&trxp3=1&trxp4=6&btrx=BUY-GFI-0-PLTS
I could have kicked myself for forgetting to add that to my cart last time.
I know I would never buy a Mason Pearson brush in this lifetime unless I won a lotto, so I guess I'll have to settle for these brushes. This iTech brush is so much better than any brushes I've used before (but they were really super cheap drugstore ones that cost only $5). |

I bought the other i TECH brush - the round/roller style that Carekate recommended. I love it. It works great with my ionic hair dryer although I'd love to get the one she raved about. |
