We have planned months back to meet when she came out. We met at the chineses restaurant and had a nice chat and then off to Sephora, Nordies, Neiman Marcus, MAC and Bath & Body works and ended with Starbucks. We ENABLED each other, which means we both hauled makeup! 
Marta is sooo easy to be with, just loved her. I actually miss her already! I feel sad she lives sooo far away! She gave me a Jurlique rose hand cream that reminds me of Dr. Hanuscka, my hands have been soft all day!
Marta if you read this,thank you for a lovely day shopping and thanks for being sooo easy to be with! I started to miss you half-way thru our day and I really do miss you already! Maybe next time we can meet up in Vegas! (end of the year)  |

| It is so good that you got on well. I am glad you had a fab time and I am green with envy because there are a few people I would love to meet up with. I have already had a wonderful offer to stay with an absolutely fantastic EDS member in the USA. Now if I could give up spending on skincare and save up the airfare I would be off to take up the offer. I am going to get there to see her though. Just not sure when. I am still waiting for Guapa to move in, although having seen how hot she is I think she will just make me feel more depressed about my wrinkles so I think I will take back that offer. |

OOOOh so lucky to meet! They are always having meets on HDD, but I live so much in the sticks I never get a chance. I think you should post some pics up of you and Marta

I am going to meet Winnie, as I have no idea of the geography I am not sure how easy it would be to meet up. Although I would love to be able to meet everybody in USA. In England we can drive to any part of the country in a day or even Scotland & Wales but I don't think thats possible in America is it?
It is a bit of a dream at the moment. Although it would be possible for me to visit Liz or for her to visit me. I think we will have to arrange it.
Liz love if slap made me look that good well lets just say I must be using the wrong stuff. Yet I thought you were using BE like me.LOL
What about those boobies & that top/dress, mine would never look like that. You looked stunning. |

When lori comes to the US I hope it is in the Summer or Fall. Cape Cod it at its finest during those seasons. It would be so nice if a group of us could meet someday and go off to a spa retreat for a week. 
Sassyred...how wonderful you got to meet Mabsy. My sister-in-law lives in San Diego. Will let you know next time I visit her. Perhaps I can kidnap Lori.  Lori maybe you can bring guapagirl with you. I would spoil the hell out of both of you. Surely I would never be the same. |

hi travelers!
guapagirl, I have been to Land's End! My hubby and I stayed at Jean Shrimpton's Hotel (and got to see her). I remember old issues of Vogue scattered about and the food at the hotel being quite yummy.

Coronado is beautiful! the whitest beaches I have seen in San Diego! Very $$$$ to live. The hotel Del is magnificent!

If I save hard and plan a schedule would it be feasable for me to travel from East to West coast without bankrupting me. I would love to meet as many of you as possible. I guess I had better start saving hard.
I would love to go with Guapa, I am sure it would be great fun. Maybe by next year she and I will have more time and money. C'mon Liz, what do you say. Is it a yes? |

| Lori -- to travel from the East Coast to the West Coast you're going to have to buy a plane ticket, which should run about $400 for a round trip ticket and $200 for a one way ticket. |

Sassyred: That sounds so great that you two got to meet and then Shop. I do think that we enable each other on here all the time. An in person shopping trip would be a blow-out.
A couple of years ago my husband and I took a long driving trip around the USA starting from our home in Arizona, and then doing a week's cruise in Europe. He had to use all of this sabitical time from work so we planned a doozy of a ride. We drove over 12,000 miles here at home and there are still so many places and states that we just didn't have time to get to. Perhaps just as well. Even with planning for it a long time, the money runs out eventually. Quicker than you think of course, and my butt was getting pretty darned sore anyway.  Ah well maybe someday. |

| marella - your vacation sounded nice! you aren't too far from me in AZ! next time you visit San Diego, we need to meet UP! I could not have sat in a car allll that time, would have driven me insane, but you sure do get to see alot of the US that way. |

Thank you SassyRed - it was lovely to meet you and I had a really good time shopping with you (even if my credit card suffered as a result). SassyRed and I did actually end up meeting again so enabling happened twice on this trip which is a bit dangerous
It's great to see that so many more EDS members are planning on catching up!
