I am very intrested in using these products, but not sure where in the regimen do I use, after cleansing, but before the C serum or after? Is it recommended to use both? |

C serum should always be used first. According to Decleor, the oil should always be followed by the appropriate cream. |

Hi there,
Given that I'm a skincare junkie, I use different items at night vs. day time. I ALWAYS use the ylang ylang oil and the hydra matte regulating fluid in the day time because it controls oil production BEYOND BELIEF. I'm a lot like CareKate on this forum -- we're both uber oily =D
In any case, so I usually wash my face, apply toner, and then a bit of vit-C serum (home made by CareKate herself). Then I squeeze a little bit of the hydra matte fluid in my left palm. Then I drop one drop of the ylang ylang oil into the lotion. Then I mix it up with my right hand index finger, and then apply it to my face. I think this is a lot easier than doing oil first and then lotion because I use less oil this way, I think -- but my face gets completely treated with it so it's a lot more economical. I find that I use a lot more of the oil if I'm just using it alone on my face.
Hope this helps. I don't think this is the "official" Decleor way of doing things but it's worked for me

Thanks Bad Bird and chunlisa for your tips..I will definetly try them out..I currently after my C serum i dab a little Phyto + on should I suspend it or use it after the Decleor stuff, sorry, but I just recently started these regimens to my skin and get a little confused, sometimes I am afraid I am overdoing it with products, but they all seem so wonderful.
I went from just using a regular pharmacy bought cleanser and sunblock, to cleanse,
DR. H CC, toner, Vit C, Phyto+, eye cream, moisturizer, and FINALLY ,sunblock. Man that is a lot of extra work, Not to mention my JI makeup..although it is easy, I have to wait a while for the sunblock to absorb so my JI goes on right!! I have gone from a 15 minute regimen to maybe about 45 minutes..Had to start getting up earlier in the Am,
But I am not complaining..I have seen a dramatic chnage in my skin in the last 2 months. Thanks to all of your wonderful advice!
I am hoping that once I start on the Ylang Ylang my face looks less shiny..I am also very intrigued by the Rose Silk Dust..
Man o man..at least I am racking up the miles on my American Express.. I figure I keep this up I can probably get a free trip to EDS!!! |

Hi Ayasmom,
I don't see why you should suspend your Vit C and Phyto+ unless you have oily skin and the layers are too much. Your current am routine is fine; you could try the Decleor at night instead. |

Not to be an enabler , but getting the Rose Dust will help you with your mineral make-up. You can use it to prime your skin first, so you don't have to wait so long after you put on moisturizer etc... |

I've been thinking about the rose dust too but I can't decide between it and the JI primer? It's cheaper but I want the one that works the best at controlling my shiney face?? Anyone know which would be better? I only get an oily t-zone (mainly nose) but it's getting that way that people need to wear a visor so the glare from my face doesn't hurt their eyes Ok I exaggerate a little... |
