Previously, I had been using Neutrogena products...one that had good moisturizing, but wasn't greasy and washed out well. I have short-ish, stick straight, babyfine blonde hair. Bought the Bumble and Bumble stuff and have been using it for about 1 1/2 months. Silly me thought...it's got a good brand name and is pricey...so it ought to be good! (Unfortunately, I hadn't found EDS yet...so hadn't learned that just isn't so!!! )
I have seen NO effect on my hair whatsoever! I'm glad I didn't get the thickening serum or styling product.
IMHO...don't waste your money! |

Sorry to hear it didn't work for you. Did for me. I have fine hair too and noticed my hair seemed fuller when I was using it. I use Ojon now. |

I wasn't happy with this product either. I felt like my hair was weighed down when I used it ... same thing with the Thickening Spray. |

Thanks for posting I was going to splurge on BB last night but didnt after reading this and ended up finding a wonderful product.
I bought Charles Worthington volumizing mousse....at ulta. It added life to my limp/fine hair. The smell is a little over the top but if you are looking for lift this stuff rocks!!! |

I have a strict rule - never wash my hair with with a 2 in 1 - shampoo and conditioner. I tried it once with something that was considered a good brand (don't remember which anymore) and it was awful! my hair looked like it had glue in it |

I tried the B&B thickening Shampoo, Conditioner, and Thickening lotion...it was a complete waste of money, effort and time!! I think this line is so over-hyped! |

I totally agree! Now, I'm stuck w/a half bottle of each...which I WON'T throw out...because it was so darn expensive! Thankfully, they were out of the thickening lotion...so I'm not stuck with that. The big question...is...what do I use next??? |

My little sister owns a salon in LA and after hearing so many complaints from customers hating B+B she sent it all back to the company and is now carrying pureology and davines!
It's true, I've talked to several celeb hair stylists, some of whom were trained by B+B or worked in their salon, and they told me that their products have so much alcohol in them, they really end up drying out the hair.
It's so hard, because their packaging and scents are so irresistible, but after having experienced the same thing firsthand, I'm disenchanted.

I bought a set of Bumble and Bumble curl shampoo, conditioner and cream, and they did not work at ALL. They actually made my hair straighter. Luckily the salon said I could bring them back if I didn't like them, which I did. I don't have a lot of faith in their other stuff now, though. |

Ordered it! Can't wait. I already had the anti-fade spray...and some volume booster for blowdrying...and I love them. So...I took your recommendation right away. Thanks much! |

I've been using B+B Thickening product line for ~ 5 years on/off and found that I really have to use a clarifying wash every 3 days or so d/t the thickening ingred. They really fatten the hair, but also can weigh it down if allowed to build up. HTH. fawnie |

I've never tried Bumble and Bumble thickening products but I really, really like Diametress from Nexxus, I'd say it makes my hair look at least 25% thicker when I use it. Also, for people who have finer hair that frizzes easily, it seems to give the hair more weight so it helps with that problem too. It ony comes as a shampoo and leave in conditioner and I think a root lifting product but no regular conditioner. |

I have LOTS of hair, but my hair is very fine. I use this product periodically and I love it! I guess it just shows that different things work for different people. I also love Pureology but it is so costly! |

I love the B&B curl conscious styling cream so splurged 15GBP each (!) on the matching shampoo and conditioner only to be totally disapointed. It did nothing for my hair at all, left it all tangled and feeling as if I'd washed it with washing up liquid! |
