Has anyone used both the Dr H Facial Toner and the Clarifying Toner? I'm almost out of the Clarifying one and am not sure whether to reorder or to go for the regular one. I'm concerned that the Clarifying toner might be drying out my skin but I read on MUA that the regular toner can actually be MORE drying . Anyone have any thoughts?
Facial Toner
Water (Aqua), Anthyllis Vulneraria Extract, Alcohol, Witch Hazel (Hamamelis Virginiana) Extract, Fragrance (Parfum).
Clarifying Toner
Water (Aqua), Alcohol, Anthyllis Vulneraria Extract, Calendula Officinalis Extract, Nasturtium (Tropeaolum Majus) Extract, Horse Chestnut (Aesculus Hippocastanum) Bark Extract, Coneflower (Echinacea Pallida) Extract, Witch Hazel (Hamamelis Virginiana) Extract, Daisy (Bellis Perennis) Extract, Rose (Rosa Damascena) Essential Oil. |

Where is Mabsy when you need her??? I think that woman has tried pretty much everything EDS sells and some. I'm sure she'll have some good advice for you when she gets back. I haven't tried either but I'd be interested to hear also... just so I can have something new to add to my ever growing wish list |

I have tried the claryfying and did like this one, as for the regular I looked at the ingredients and thought I'm not paying over a tenner for witch hazel and water so I went to the chemist, bought a bottle of witch hazel for £1 and made my own |

I made my own toner too, based on carekate's advice! I've replaced my Dr. H clarifying toner with a mixture of Green Tea, Apple Cider Vinegar, Vitamin C and Ylang Ylang oil. I'm slightly missing my Dr. H, but it's been working well for me none-the-less. There is also a philosophy that toner isn't even necessary.......who knows. |

rosebud, I couldn't agree with you more about the price. But I'm justifying it by the fact that I'm ordering it from a German site so I'm not spending as much as I would be if I were to get it from Space NK.
I will make my own as soon as I stop being so lazy.
Think I'm gonna try out the regular toner unless anyone stops me... |

Izecka as a fellow uk resident do you use a sun screen? Do you know if Space NK or Selfridges stock the Dr Hauscka make-up? |

rosebud, no I don't. To be honest with you I don't think its necessary. I'm literally outside for 15 mins in the morning and 15 mins in the evening (going to and from work from the train station) and I think that the SPF in my JI is more than adequate to protect me in the 30 mins I spend outside.
Now, I have read all the sunscreen posts, and I know about not needing sunshine for the damaging UVA rays etc etc but I still think that my JI gives enough protection.
I have blonde hair and dark blue eyes and I am quite fair but I have never ever burned in this country. Now when I go on holiday, that's a different matter.
The Space NK in Guildford doesn't stock Dr H makeup - but it is quite small. As for Selfridges, I'm sorry I don't know. You could always order it from drhauschka.co.uk although I would recommend getting it from a german site - a LOT cheaper.
Oh dear, I hope no one gets angry at me for my sunscreen views... |

I know what you mean about the sunscreen, I do spend a lot of time in our conservatory and have been know to get burnt from sitting in there for a few hours. However before I jump and buy the next best miracle sun screen I think I'll go and ask for some samples at the counter - I always wish I was older when I want samples, they just never take early 20's seriously!!!
I'll have to go in with dirty trainers and 'hoody' and demand samples
Speaking of which how rediculous is this - the Trafford Centre has also decided not to allow anyone in who is wearing a cap or a hooded top!!! |

I was just about to say "but make sure its not Bluewater you go to in that hoody" when I read your next line and realised it was actually the Trafford Centre and you knew about it. Doh. |
