I would say that I first noticed results within 1 month, but the tone of my skin keeps getting better and better as time goes on. As well, remember with c serum, it is largely for prevention as well. Using it everyday is protecting your skin and slowing down the destruction, if you will, from free radicals. In 5 years time, you will probably notice a big difference between your skin and that of your friends of a similar age who did not use similar skincare products. |

I started to see results in the first few weeks, my sunspot faded. I've been using it over 2 months now and it's been 3 months since I changed all my skincare products. I'm suddenly getting compliments from friends wanting to know what I'm using. For Vitamin C I'm using the Obagi C-fectives 10%. When this runs out I will probably try the Vivier 20%. |

When i used Skinceuticals serum 10......for about 2-3 weeks.......i didn't notice anything at all...........my skin still looked the same........since i've been using Janson & Beckett's C&C Serum.........my face glowed from day 1.......and now onto my 6th day.........it looks even better.........
Therefore i think it also depends on the Vitamin C as well.......the skinceuticals, vivier, or janson and beckett.........some might do wonders for your skin from day 1...others might take some time.....be patient.......unlike myself.......who expects miracles overnight...........sometimes....
regards Karina
p.s. I see your from Scotland........i was born and bred in Glasgow.............Georges Cross????!!! |

I don't think you should necessarily look for something so fast acting. Things that work in hours/days are all temporary; good for a special event but not necessarily good for the overall health of your skin (collegan products or high molecular weight HA which bind to the surface and tighten).
A good vit C serum has components for stability and to enhance absorption. It stimulates collagen growth a effect seen over months) and improve microcirculation (makes your skin tone more even in weeks).
Vit C as an active ingredient is the only one that has hundreds of peer reviewed studies showing it's worth and if you read beauty forums it is the ingredient narly everybody sees improvement with.
Anyway as in everything in life there are few real fast fixes. |
