Hi all, just trying to source some advice on the dermalogica scrubs and masks and how ppl have found them. I have oily/dehydrated skin and have been having a horrible deep/sore breakout on my forehead for the past two months (ussually that area is clear!) otherwise everywhere else i just get the odd spot. I'm looking for something to help clear skin without agitating or drying it. Any suggestions?
I'm currently just cleansing/toning with yonka products, doing a scrub weekly (clinique 7 day scrub-horrible i know!) and using estee Lauder daywear moisturiser. |

Hi, there!
I used and loved Dermalogica products before I went onto Obagi. I have oily acne prone skin and I found success with their Daily Microfoliant(I pour a bit of this white powder in the palm of my hand and add a bit of water to mix into a grainy paste), Anti Bac Cooling Mask(clear mask that feels tingly and cool on the skin--works well on breakouts), and Special Clearing Booster(has 5% Benzoyl Peroxide--excellent to banish breakouts quickly). HTHS! |

I love the Daily Microfoliant. It is an awesome, GENTLE scrub....and very effective. Smoothes and brightens the skin with the first couple uses.
I have normal/dry skin so my recommendations on Masks wouldn't probably work for you. Try the Microfoliant. I think you'll like it.

I also love the daily microfoliant and the anti-bac cooling mask is nice too. It's helps to treat and soothe any inflamations caused by acne without drying out your skin (I left it on for nearly 30 minutes and it didn't irritate my skin at all). I tend to steer clear of products designed for treating acne as they make my skin sensitive so that's about all I could recommend. |
