At the moment I am using both Origins Checks and Balances and Dr Hauschka Cleansing Cream
Skin type: acne invaded + sensitive + dry
I am running out of both cleansers, thinking about trying something new, maybe theres something that would work better for my skin |

I'm currently using Dermalogica Ultra Calming Cleanser + Jurlique Face Wash Cream (similar to Dr H CC). My bottle of Ultra Calming is nearly empty and whilst I love the way it takes off all my make up without irritating, breaking out or drying my skin, I'm looking for something new, something with more WOW factor ! If my memory is correct you're a guy Aga, is that right?? If so, make up removal may not be of concern to you (or maybe it is ). I'm thinking about trying the Dr H Cleansing Milk or the Jurlique Ultra-Sensitive cleanser, I'm just scared that they will make me break out. |

Am using homemade version of Dr Hauschks cleansing cream - this is the best cleanser I've ever used and my skin looks really well. It gives my skin a deep cleanse but without drying my skin out and even takes off my eye make-up.
Am also using Dermalogica Skin Prep once a week,I got some samples of this and yes something else to add to my wish list |

I'm using two at the moment...both purchased after reading glowing reviews on this site.
AM - Phytomer Velvet Cleansing Cream
PM - Yonka Gel Netoyyant
The combination of the two have DRASTICALLY improved my skin texture. It actually feels like baby skin again (although it doesn't quite look like it yet...)
I have sensitive skin that's prone to breakouts & has been dry lately as I've been using Retin-A. |

I use Janson Beckett's Organic Cleansing Cream in the AM and PM, and in the PM I followed that with Dermalogica's Daily Microfoliant. It is awesome and something you might want to try. Really perks up the complexion!

Rosebud -
Are you adding the “carrier oil” to your homemade Dr H CC, or are you grinding your almonds more finely with the mortar/pestle and using the almonds’ own natural oils? I’m still using grapeseed oil in mine, but I’m looking for somewhere to buy a mortar/pestle so I can try it that way. Regardless though, I agree that it’s the best cleanser for deep cleaning.
For the record, I’m extremely oily. I remove my makeup (even waterproof eye makeup) with either Decleor Gel Cleanser or Yonka Gel Nettoyant, then followup with the homemade CC, then swipe a cotton pad moistened with my ACV Super Toner and I’m good to go!
Aga -
Have you ever thought of trying a cleansing oil to wash your face with? And know it sounds counter-intuitive, but it works really well – even for a greaseball like me! It doesn’t make me oilier and it doesn’t give me any breakouts. Decleor makes a lovely cleansing oil, as does DHC (plus they send three new product samples every time they mail you a new catalog!). If you live near a Sephora, go in and ask for a sample of the Decleor cleansing oil. You’ll know whether you like it or not just after 1 or 2 uses! |

Hi!
I´m using Md Formulations facial cleanser and it works well for me. It contains glycolic acid, which is supposed to gently exfoliate the skin surface. The only thing I don´t like about it is that you have to have a separate eyemakeup remover. I guess it all depends on personal preferences, I tend to be a little lazy....
I have combination skin, yet dehydrated, almost 30..... /Heléne |

Yes, they shouldn't give you any problems. If you want to try one, I can send you a sample of the Decleor cleansing oil. PM me if you're interested. |

I was using Cetaphil to remove eye makeup(still do, actually) and Aveda's gel cleanser.
Recently I purchased Weleda's Iris cleansing lotion after hearing about it on this forum. I love it! Plus it is very affordable. Weleda is a new brand to me (just purchsed their rosemary hair oil, too, and am very pleased with it.....different thread, I know!!)I think I will look for more of their products in the future. |

Skin is oily mega!
Currently using Cetaphil in the morning, or Thalgo cleansing cream pure radiance. The cetaphil was recommended for a dermatitis rash I sometimes get on my chin.
At night, I use Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel- love this one |

Don't feel bad -- I thought Edenfield was a girl, even after he posted photos of himself!!! I still cringe at myself for that little slipup! |

Aga - if you do end up trying the decleor cleansing oil will you post and let us know how it goes please! I'm interested in trying it too but I'm still adapting to the concept of purposefully sticking oil on my face I'm using a sample of the ylang ylang at the moment just for my t-zone (and loving it!) so who knows, I may end up converting!! |

Cleansing oils are actually quite effective although it did take me a while to get past the "I'm putting oil on my face" issue. I have tried both the Decleor, Babor and the DHC. While I like them and find them to be effective - I do prefer the Babor two-step cleansing oil system. Cleansing oils are also effective, yet gentle, for removing eye makeup - although if you are not careful you can end up with blurred vision for a few minutes |
