I was at Sephora today and happened to pass by their "Plumping Station." I noticed Sugar cosmetics came out with a lip plumper and picked it up since it was fairly cheap. Well, WOW is all I can say... despite being fairly painful and smelling like a mixture of Bazooka gum and Vicks Vaporub, the stuff WORKS. Not only that... it's the first plumper I've tried that made a difference in my top lip, which nothing else has done. I'm extremely, extremely pleased, I can only hope that the results stick around past the first few applications
On another, related note, I happened to pick up TheBalm's Time Balm Undereye concealer and it too is fantastic. Applied easily and I still look rested and fresh 6 hours after putting it on. Woot! |

Hi! I'm glad you found a good product. I may check Sephora for this.....is it cheaper than Lipfusion? That seems to be the one to buy. Just not crazy about spending over $30 on it right now.
Would you mind sharing the ingredients with us?
Thanks! |

Here's the blurb from Sephora:
Quote: |
Pump 'Em Up
Pump up your pout with Sugar's new lip plumping lip gloss that does double duty: it instantly plumps lips to a perfect pout, and provides sweet, shiny lip color. This pout perfector contains a super-charged blend of active ingredients that increase blood flow to the lips while menthol, camphor, and other oils cool, soothe, and hydrate. With its tingly kick, you can feel it working. After about five minutes the tingling stops, but the lips stay plump for up to three to six hours. |
It's pretty inexpensive - $12 US.
Agave do you have to keep re-applying? Have you noticed any dryness at all? Can you post back after you've tried it for awhile?

The Sephora quote is about right. I put it on at around 2-ish, maybe re-applied once and just now (around 8pm) noticed they looked abit less full. The top lip still definately looked fuller than natural, but, I had less of an overall swollen lip look. I just re-applied and they are nice and pouty again.
I think tomorrow for work I'll layer LipFusion/Pump em Up and then TheBalm's Plump Your Pucker in Boyz'N'My Berry over it |

Hi there!
What is the difference between the Lip Fusion and the Sugar plumper in terms of both result and how it feels on the lips....Does the Lip Fusion sting? I find that with the "stingy" plumpers you have to be careful near the corners of your mouth (ouch!)
Thanks!

Pudoodles,
I haven't tried the Sugar plumper but Lip Fusion doesn't sting. It just feels like your lips are swelling. It was mildly uncomfortable at first, but now I'm used to it and it doesn't bother me. |

I agree, Lipfusion doesn't sting - it makes my lips a bit numb. I can feel my lips swelling after I apply it. I like that Lipfusion doesn't use menthol or camphor, I'm afraid those ingredients would irritate my lips too much. I've tried TheBalm too but it didn't do much. It is a nice gloss though. |

Hmmm, do we have a new lip plumper we need to try? Check this out: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P93403&shouldPaginate=true&categoryId=B10
I looked on MUA, but it doesn't look like anyone has posted a review of it yet....
Since I tried the Hydroderm lip stuff (useless) and the “Simon Solution” Two-Step Lip Enhancement kit that Pam Anderson endorses (useless, but the “plumping” lip balm was kind of nice even though it didn’t actually plump) and just ordered one of the new LipFusion colors to try, how’s about someone else be the guinea pig this time and try this one?? |

I tried this last week after wondering through Sephora and remembering the posts about it here. I can't say that I saw any results although my lips did look shinier and a bit redder I think too. I didn't really appreciate the feeling of it on though - it doesn't really sting but I find that feeling like my lips are numb and hot (temperature wise ) is not something that I find comfortable. |
