This is a concealer/highlighter in pen form, similar to YSL Touche Eclat. I bought this in 010 Beige Clair, a fair to medium tone.
Let me tell you,- throw out your YSL pens, and buy this one. Not only is the highlighting effect much more natural and instantly perfects browbones, but itīs concealing properties are so much better than YSL.
I get some small lines under my eyes when my skin gets dry, and these are normally highlighted if I try to conceal them. Let me exemplify: If I apply the tiniest amount of regular concealer to my hand, I can usually see the product setteling into the tiny lines on the hand. With the Guerlain product though, it simply disappears on the skin, leaving only a flawless finish.
The price though, is really high for a concealer. I donīt know what YSL retails for in thee US, but the Sephora website says $43 for Guerlain. I paid about $48 here in Norway. |

Oh so tempting.... I do like the YSL Touche Eclat and even though I keep telling myself that they are overpriced, each time I go overseas I cave when I do duty free shopping and buy it anyway. I will try the Guerlain next time - my YSL has gone all funky It has that damp musty smell and even regular cleaning is not helping with this one. |

Ugh, isnīt that gross? Iīm not overly keen on pen type products because of this, but the Guerlain seemed to good to pass up. |

Yeah, it's really off-putting. I see they have the same problem with their testers instore. I haven't had this problem with all of them though - not sure what this depends on. |

Do you think it would give enough coverage for someone with pretty dark circles? I have these (genetic) and found the Touche Eclat much too sheer, still searching for the ultimate concealer... |

Fifi: Iīm not sure, really. Though it is more concealing than YSL, itīs no heavy-duty concealer. It reflects light nicely though, so it would definatly help. I suggest you try it out at a Guerlain counter, if possible. |

I think I'll sneak out to the Guerlain counter at my local John Lewis with no concealer on and ask them for a demo (will have to go early so fewer people see me ). |

If you don't have lines under your eyes & the main problem is the dark cirkles, try bobbi brown, corrector & concealer (also has a setting powder). I have dryness & can't use this, but a young (er) friend with circles swears by it. |

I actually do have some of the Bobbi Brown stuff (Bisque corrector and Sand concealer, I think). It does give good coverage, but I found it to go cakey on me - I think I have some dryness and skin texture issues to iron out there to be honest. Still searching for the ultimate eye cream too.... |

Well, that color is now back oredered on Sephora so they must have had a rush!! Guess I'll have to wait or go in to the store. Probably better that way. |

the 00 Rose is a really nice shade as well. it highlights even better and is more moisturising than the 010 (which i have as well). on light makeup days, i still actually prefer just using the Rose under and all around my eyes. it's sheerer though -- so not as good at concealing-- but there seems to be more of glow. i definitely recommend checking this one out as well. |

This is definitely my HG concealer at the moment , I have the lightest shade number "00" I also think it's better than the YSL one & it's a bit cheaper as well. I find it generally looks a lot more natural in comparison to YSL & is not as drying, the SA said this is because it has the same ingredients as their Issma Eye Serum. Definitely a winner! I just Guerlain products! |

I tried this out this morning, and it is rather nice although doesn't cover my circles. It does brighten up that area to the point where they don't look so bad though, and is very light and so far not cakey. Will see how it wears before purchasing though. I automatically reached for the 01 (Beige Clair)and was quite surprised when the SA steered me to the darker shade (Beige Naturel) as I think I'm quite fair - she was right though, it was exactly right! |

This review has really got me interested in Guerlain. I've used the same brand of concealor for years but this product has got me intrigued! I love the idea of a "brightening" affect. We are traveling to NYC this weekend for a family event and I will now have to stop at Bloomies or Sax and find a Guerlain counter. Thanks for the tip!! |

Hi all - I'm interested in Guerlain Meteorites Pink Fresh (the multi-colored balls) powder that comes in a round box. If anyone's tried this, or anyone going to a Guerlain counter tries it (our local Saks doesn't carry Guerlain), please let me know what you think of it.
I didn't like YSL Touche Eclat (didn't notice it doing much of anything concealing-wise for the price, and as everyone's said, it's quite sheer), but now I'm curious about this highlighter! |

If you haven't already, be sure to check out their bronzing powder as well! It's truly amazing! One of my all time favorite products I haven't tried the concealer pen though, sounds intresting. |

I've been using the Meteorites Balls for a while now & I have a few of the different varieties actually! The Pink Fresh is quite nice, it does add a delicate pinkish-apricot sheen to my complexion, nothing too extreme IMHO...but personally I prefer the Beige Chic for my skin, I just think it adds more of a nice, healthy glow
But generally you can't expect to see miracles with the Meteorites, they're just designed to add a delicate veil of colour to your complexion & also to even it out here & there. If you've never used/tried it before I definitely suggest you go have a good play with the testers in store! , as most people end up either loving or hating this product...also it is quite pricey as well.
Anyway HTH! |

M.April,
I'll see what I can find. I'm horrible at giving feedback(that's why no reviews from me on EDS). I'll do my best though. |

Thanks Ziggy for the tip but I'm already using a bronzer by Estee Lauder and I have fallen in love with Giorgio Armani's Fluid Sheer #3 (it acts as a bronzer as well but with a dewy look.) In fact I have a few samples of the fluid sheer..LOVE THIS STUFF!!!! |

I've also heard either you love 'em or you hate 'em, lol! So I guess one just has to try for oneself. I have a friend who abolutely adores these Meteorites, she can't live without them.
Safire is right, they are pricey. However, you can buy refills for the box. The "paper" packaging doesn't appeal to me, as it can get damaged by humidity etc. Yeah, and there's also a seperate Meteorites brush you can get. I don't think these are for me, but Guerlain sure has some outstanding products |

Thank you Safire, Lifeplyr01 and Ziggy for the feedback on Meteorites powder. If I could prevail upon you some more, I wonder if you think Pink Fresh could be used as a blush (I wouldn't want to apply it all over my face)? Is it very pearly/shimmery/sparkly, whatever? Is it TOO subtle to even consider for a blushing powder?
Thanks for your input -- it's an expensive product and I want to know as much as possible first. My local Sephora doesn't stock it either -- I've only seen it online which is no help, really. And I don't think any samples come in the Pink Fresh color |

m.april I don't find the Pink Fresh too sparkly at all (just a bit shimmery)...the only problem I find is that if I use too much I look a bit too artifically pinky, apricotish-peachish (if that makes any sense at all !) You can use it as a blush, but it probably won't look as pigmented as your usual blush. Like I said before I prefer the Beige Chic one, and I apply it more to my cheeks than the rest of my face just to add a nice "glow" ...even though it is supposed to be an all-over highlighter.
It does make it harder when you can't test the colours on your skin ...I ended up purchasing mine online without even trying the product because it wasn't available in store and also because they retail at around $115 each in Australia!
But IMHO it's not my HG product I just Guerlain products because I'm such a sucker for gorgeous packaging! |

i think it is to subtle to be used soley as a blush unless you really like the barely there look. otherwise, you'd have to layer it on in a way that would just look artificial. however, as a layer *over* your blush of choice it's brilliant! it adds a subtle glow and seems to make blush stay on longer. you can also put a touch on some other parts of your face to give it a touch of healthy colour (like where you'd apply a bronzer). the effect would be subtle but i think it would be lovely on your pale skin. |
