Hi! I lost my sister to cancer and i'm having trouble letting her go. I can't beieve she's gone. She worked up until the week before she died, and even though we knew the time would come, we didn't expect it to happen so suddenly |

skinrg,
I am so sorry for your loss Surely anything I say can't take away your pain. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time.
I just sent my brother a beautiful poem. I will PM it to you. May it bring you some comfort.
Hugs,
Winnie |

I am very sorry for your loss. I know how painful it is to lose a loved one. If you feel sad and want to talk about her you can PM me any time. I don't mind listening and I know that friends try to avoid the subject after a couple of weeks thinking you should be over it by now. |

Hi there,
Welcome to the club nobody wants to join, it is truly like a dream you never wake from, I lost my brother suddenly 18 months ago and I can tell you from experience that life is just not ever going to be the same as you once knew it. It does make us realize that we must live our own lives to the fullest..."time only goes one way"
Best. |

I'm so sorry. I can't imagine how hard this must be for you. My only advice is don't stop talking about your feelings. Share with friends and family and know that your forum friends are here for you too. This is an incredibly supportive group. People all over the world are caring about you and wishing you well. |

My sis is a best friend. She's 7 years younger than I am I can't imagine being without her. Your sis will always be a part of you though I know it will take time to feel good again. It's important to grieve and to talk about her. Make a scrapbook of her life. My dh's mom just died and the brothers put together a really nice show with photos and little stories. |

My heart really goes out to. When my Grandfather died (he was ready to go), we hired out a room in his favourate pub, covered the walls with photos of him from throughout his life and got everyone who had ever known him together. There was a free bar (something he would have loved) and we had a cellebration of his life.
A lot of the family had fallen out, yet through that one day he had brought us all together
Hang on in there |

I'm so sorry that you are having to go through this, losing a loved is such a harrowing experience.
As the other girls have said - it's good to talk about how you are feeling and let it out.
Take care
