Spent the day in the garden and thought it would be a fantastic idea to repot all the houseplants It was a shock to find that I have in total 42 houseplants and nearly every one needed repotting
It has taken me all day!!
I have had to put one on the stairs as its 8ft high and still growing, I took the sucker out by accident a few years back so now it will only grow straight up instead of out sideways
Then there are another ten that are like mini trees, the house is becomming a jungle!!!
I hope we don't have a water shortage this year
How does everyone else go on with houseplants? |

I am afraid I have none. I always manage to kill them.
I do like them, they just don't like me |

I somehow got addicted to starting all of my plants from seeds, I have over a hundred seedlings right now, our table in the patio is full of my seedlings, but I left my husband a space big enough for his ashtray.
After feeling sorry for him, I bought me 4 tier shelves to house my seedlings, but there is still not enough space, so you can just imagine what my patio floor looks like. Gardening is very addicting!! |

Glad to find out that I'm not the only plant-killer! I can't keep a houseplant alive if my life depended on it. Which is strange since I am a good gardener outside. Makes no sense! |

Another plant killer here. I went and bought some fake lillies from Marks & Sparks yesterday though. Does that count? |

I only have two houseplants at the moment as I have managed to kill all the others. Strangely, all the houseplants that I killed were from Ikea. The 2 plants that have survived (and are thriving) were from local garden centres. I like to think that the Ikea plants dying was nothing to do with my lack of greenfingers but more to do with the poor quality of Ikea stock. |

Plant killer here as well, though I do have a xmas cactus that has survived for the last 5 years despite never being watered. I think the fids do it secretly I do however love my garden and it it looking lush at the mo. Just starting on the back garden, which has been a building site and cat's toilet for the last 6 years. When I have finished it will be a beautiful cat's toilet |

You misunderstand me. It isn't manslaughter in my case, it is willful herbicide |

As promised easy to handle houseplants. The one I know you can't kill are Aspidistras - These things are foolproof, you just can't kill them!!!
