Hi,

Just wanted to mention that I received my EDS order the other day..purchased the Glyquin XM, and the blinc mascara. The sweethearts at EDS also included the samples I requested-valmont renewing pack and cellcosmet eye cream (no doubt knowing that I would end up purchasing them).
The blinc mascara is fantastic!! It does exactly what I wanted it to do. It defines and blackens my lashes and doesnt budge all day!!! The amount of eye-lashes I lost in cleaning were no were near the amount that I used to pull out from my other mascara clumping!! And it took possibly 30 seconds longer to get the blinc off than what it normally takes to get other mascara off (and to be honest - I am not that great with that..I often go to bed with black circles under my eyes from left over hard to remove mascara).

The Valmont (thankyou mabsy) smells luxurious and I feel that I look luxurious. It gives me a glow..ahhhh. Anyway, thats a definate purchase although the sample was a little stingy (I guess it only takes one treatment to get you sucked in!! Laughing).

As for the cellcosmet...well I have a generous samples (yayyyyy), and I am not sure what I am looking out for. It certainly moisturises, and I have fine lines (o.k I am being slightly paranoid - I KNOW they are there, and I KNOW i might be the only one who can see them and only in the magnifying mirror...but surely my best eye cream would be getting rid of them???), so I am reserving my final analysis (judged by purchase or non-purchase), until a few more days have passed.

The glyquin I am also reserving. I dont have dark patches and am not really red, but it smooths out my complexion like nothing I have ever seen before, I look calm. Also, I'm kinda into the pale look right now, with slightly pink cheeks. So anyway, thats all I have to say about that. Very Happy

Great! Which color of Blinc did you get? To make the removal faster and less messy, I would suggest you take one of those Dove cotton squares, wet it with warm water, and fold it over and under (i.e. fold in half) your lashes. Hold there for about 5sec and gently pull. That should get most of the tubes off in one go and they'll be on the cotton square and not your face.

So we have another fan of the Valmont Renewing Pack hey? I'm sorry to have (potentially) done that to your credit card but the stuff really IS good Smile I'm still loving it and it's been ages since I first tried it. The samples are small but I find that you don't need much product though to cover your face.

Keep us posted on the Cellcosmet and the Glyquin as well please Very Happy

I got the black, but I might get another colour soon..it is very good - maybe purple, maybe blue. I will wear it to work - black seems the most practical and they do look black (since I am fair..they stand out). Oh, and dont feel bad about the renewing pack..its nice to feel pretty!!! Very Happy

I've got the purple one and it's a great color! It's subtle but especially great if you have brown eyes.

I have green eyes...(actually one green eye and one hazel eye....freaky) Is it mauvish or really purple? It looks mauveish on the adorebeauty website, but maybe its more purple. In that case, I dont know how it will look on my eyes.

One green and one hazel! How awesome!

I can't quite answer your mauve/purple question so I figured this was the best way about it:

You are very clever with your pics...I wouldnt have a clue how to go about it. Rolling Eyes

Thanks for that though, it seems purple but shimmery also. I might as well give it a go - its not as dark as some others. Cool

I figured it would be easier than describing it....

It does actually look like a metallic purple in the tube but that doesn't come across on the lashes like that at all (I mean the metallic part).

EDS definitely gets their money's worth with valmont and cellcosmet samples. That is how I got hooked on many of the cellcosmet products.

I finally bought Blinc's Kiss Me Mascara after reading raves about for several years. Now I wonder what took me so long. I bought the black because it matches my lashes, but after seeing the photo I'm going to order the purple next. Thanks for the inspiration, Mabsy.

I just asked for Cellcosmet Ultra Vital and Activation Gel with a $300 order from EDS. I hope I get them or any other Cellcosmet samples. I will keep you all informed.

(I'm already sold and in love with the Cellcosmet eye cream, cleansing gel and the toner, so I only asked for ones I didn't have and haven't tried)

I feel cellcosmet is more mosturizing than Valmont. But cellcosmet has much less choice than valmont. In winter I love cellcosmet, but in warmer weather, I feel cellcosmet is too rich for me not matter what line I chose.

I can't wait to try Blinc mascara. I keep forgetting to buy it. Currently, I am using Chantecaille Faux Cils mascara and it the best one I have ever used.

I find almost every cellcosmet product indicate the age range to use, this is very helpful to help you choose correct product. And cellcosmet do not have too many products, you will not be confused which one to choose.
