I have been using the serum on and off now since Feb. I think it's a good product in general, very soothing to my oh so sensitive skin. But, it turns me blue if I use it full strength!! The serum itself is a deep navy blue and it clings to any tiny bit of dryness and my pores also look darker after I've used it. Anyone else using this product have the same thing happen? I don't know if the good results are worth the side effects. At the Skin Bio forum it's suggested to dilute it but what would be the point of using it then I wonder?? I would ask there where most everyone uses this stuff but it's not a well maintained forum, troll wise like this one is. (love you EDS!)
My husband was outside the other day mowing our 2 acre lawn and came in with just top of his forehead burnt. He applied sunscreen but missed his forehead. I applied CP serum full strength on the red part and he said he felt instantly cooled off and by the next day it was healed, no peeling or sign of a burn. It is a great product, I'm sad I can't use it on my face. I was especially hoping it would decrease the look of the spider veins around my nose. Would love some feedback, thanks, Annette |

Hi Annette,
I am starting my 3rd week on cp serum. Right now I am still using the diluted version for my sensitive skin. Was told to start very slowly to avoid irritation.
My goal for using cp serum is to repair my skin barrier so it will be less sensitive. After having constant dermatitis, I have had it...
I think I will be using the full strength in 2 weeks. I also have a sample of the p&r cream waiting for me.
Sorry, I am not much help for you |

mtview, you ARE a help! It's good to know someone, with skin like mine, is trying this product too. I too would like my skin to be less reactive. Maybe I will just dilute it forever! |

I didn't like Skin Biology, it made my skin vey very sensitive and I didn't notice any improvement, after 5 months. |

Hi Annette, You do need to exfoliate with CPs. Also you could just use it at night (I alternate with this and Vit C in the AM). I have been using for about 5 months and apart from going thruogh an 'ugly' stage near the beginning, I think that it has been pretty good for me, though my skin was in good shape before, so the effects weren't so noticable.

Hi Annette, I'm a long-term CP user (years of it) and I do feel it makes my skin thicker, healthier and more resiliant in the long-run but it's very hard to quantify. Like Guapagirl I now use CPs at night and Vit C by day. Not sure it's done a lot for my spider veins though
From your post I'm not sure which serum you're using. The really strong ones, like Supercop serum and Supercop cream are heavily coloured. But the lighter serum doesn't seem to be - have you tried that? The P&R Classic is also good for sensitive skin and totally invisible. M |

I have used CP for some time. They are great for the scalp (I've seen really dense hair regrowth when used with Minoxidol). When I used the Min alone I did see fuzz but it wasn't until I added CP that I saw the dense hair regrowth. I also use the regular Skin Biology CP after doing a peel in the evening I've found that it really keeps the red away and the skin heals nicely (I've done tests with CP on one side and nothing on the other after a peel and there is a difference).
I haven't used any peptide cream regularly for about 9 months. The first skin creams I ever tried 2 years ago were peptide creams (OHT peptide, Stivectin, a CVS "fakevectin containing airg..." and SKin Biology CP). Although these were good moisturizers I did not see much reduction in fine kines until I used vit C. I also got the "uglies" under my eyes with each of the peptide products. I'm not sure what causes this but it has kept me from using these products on my face. I have a lot left and use them on my chest and hands.
I do sometimes use the CP on my neck at night. It is not compatible with vit C. |

"Copper-Peptide Serum
A water-based strong copper-peptide serum with no oils or lipids. Good for skin glow and regeneration. Good for persons with acne but start slowly. Often used on oily T-Zone."
This the one I'm using, it's dark blue in colour. I have a sample of Super Cop but I haven't used it, it's a cream, light blue colour. It has camphor and menthol in it so I won't use it on my face.
When I scrubbed my face raw a couple months ago, the copper peptide serum really helped heal and sooth. I think I will just continue to exfoliate, like Liz says, and dilute so it has no colour. I was all bent on using it undiluted, all or nothing you know. |

I'm battling crusties from a rash I developed recently after trying a new sunscreen on my face. The last few days I've been diluting the cps with hyluranic acid serum or glycerin and it's working really, really well! I don't use water because it stings. |

I used Super Cop serum on my face and neck at night for months. (alternated it with C serum during the day...) No bad reaction but no good one either... I had read all the stuff about skin remodelling but frankly, if it happens at all, it is wayyyyyyy too slow for me.
The only time I use it now is after a glycolic acid peel. No question that its very soothing and, although it doesn't cut the effectiveness of the peel, it does seem to limit the intensity of the uglies that sometimes follow a peel.
Don't know if that's of any use to you at all. The scientific data certainly supports its use. I just didn't see any results and I was very patient |
