Hi myztic. I would like to know everything about hair too. Like what can you do to leave/make it healthy and not dull but shiny and not oily. And keep the scalp healthy too, without psiorias and dandruff. And to give body/volume to it. Because I think that even if you have the thickest hair and you use the wrong products it can look thin and dull etc. and putting oil in hair can make it look more thinner. I want that my hair looks hydrated and that is different then shiny (I think). Sometimes my hair is shiny but still dry, so thats why I think shiny is not the same as hydrated. My hair looks shiny when I shower with cold water, not to cold ofcourse and also could water is good to close the hairscubs, so it does not becomes thirty quick. Do you think that aveda products are good and 100 % natural. Because here in the Netherlands there is nothing really natural but we do have aveda, but do not know if its really natural. Ok bye wave

I've used the garnier one and the inner science one. I prefer the inner science but have had trouble finding it again.

I'm now using nioxin products, and they don't have a weekly treatment so I use my daily conditioner and wrap my hair up in saran/plastic wrap so that it warms up and then leave it for 20 minutes or half an hour before rinsing. Something about the heat from your head helps it sink in/moisturize more. Give it a shot before buying another new product.

and my hair is super fine, highlighted, greases up easily, and a bit damaged.

Hair treatments can never actually heal damaged hair, but they can mask the damage, and prevent further damage. There are basically two main types of deep conditioning treatments; protein treatments which are meant for chemically treated hair, and which are supposed to "repair" the damage, and moisturizing treatments, which are basically meant for dry hair. All hair types can benefit from a moisturizing treatment/deep conditioner, but if you give a hair too much protein, it can become dry and porous as result. After a protein conditioner, always follow up with a moisturizing treatment.

Some to try:
Moisture:
Redken All Soft Heavy Cream
Joico Moisturizer

Protein:
Joico K-Pak
Redken Extreme
Fudge Dynamite

My hair is thin/coloured and basically from Hell. My current combination is alternating with Nioxin and Lamas Chinese Herb shampoos with a mix of Alba Botanica Gardenia conditioner/Terax Crema on the length and ends with Nioxin conditioner on the bangs.

My hair is probably the healthiest and shiniest it's been in ages.

Terax Crema really is the best product to bring damaged and dry hair back to health.

I have really, really fine - cat hair-esque hair and LOVE, after many years of trial and error - Kerastase Masquintense and Emergencee by Nexus once a week each. They strengthen my hair and make it shine!

I love redken, I have this conditionimg spray that I use after I've washed my hair in the moprning and just before I dry my hair. Spray it on the ends then comb through. It disguises my split ends Laughing
A good overnight treatment for really dry hair is coconut oil.
