Just wondered what anyone thought of this.
I decanted some samples of this into a small jar and tried it on a small cluster of pimples overnight for two/three nights. I was not really that impressed as it did not seem to do anything for me.
The good thing it is very gentle, does not sting and does not dry the area you apply it to up.
I have had better results from using tea tree oil.

Rosebud,
I have just recently started using this. I can't really say that it cleared me up, but it is really gentle and doesn't dry me out like so many other products do. I'm interested in trying the tea tree oil... how do you use yours?
Ali

I apply it neat to the spot, I've never had any problems doing this and it works every time, I also use it if I slice my finger in the kitchen.
Lavender is suposed to work well too on acne, I think these are the only two oils that you can use neat.
I think the medicated clearing gel just wasn't strong enough for me.
You do have to be careful with the tea tree, it is strong, sometimes it can over dry the area, I find it's best just to apply to the actual spot or if I have squeezed Embarassed Laughing
It stops any further infection.

Thanks Rosebud... I will have to give it a shot. I'm glad that this is such a good remedy because I LOVE the smell. Laughing

Yeah Ali be really careful with the tea tree oil. It does work well but it's probably best to diulte it with you being sensitive. I had an incident back in highschool involving too much pure tea tree oil and a REALLY REALLY sore burnt off chin Laughing It was so gross. I sure learnt my lesson though. Killed the pimples but half my chin skin went with em Laughing Sorry for the icky description. It's just funny that I can laugh about it now, back then I thought my life was over (you know how dramatic all those things seem when your 16!).

Another tip for the tea tree, either add some to your toner or to your moistursier.
It is way too strong for me in my toner but goes well if I add some to my day oil, my other half adds tea tree to his daily moisturiser.

I've tried the medicated clearing gel before and I was really impressed by its ability to get redness out of a pimple and also to vanish newly forming pimples. The first time I tried this I had this painful red mountain forming but it wasn't really a pimple yet. It disappeared super quick after using the gel. I used another sample of this in San Diego and used it for a few days in a row and it was slow to improve the pimple that I had. I decided that it's best as a preventative and ealy solution rather than something for pimples that have already come up.
