I tried this on the recommendation of my esthetician - and I was so disappointed.
I found it really difficult to mix the two colors to get an acceptable color that was neither too light nor too dark. Actually, I never did get a good color and just wiped it off and went to work without.
I am trying to cover genetic dark undereye circles that are quite noticeable, dark blue on neutral/cool, fair skin. I use the Jane Iredale pressed base in a yellow tone - Warm Silk - since it helps cover acne scarring.
Now that I think about the concept - it seems like a big hassle to go through every day to mix more of the exactly right tone. I only used this once. Maybe good for a makeup expert, not for me! They say it's so you can mix to match as your skin tone changes - well, mine never changes that dramatically or that fast, so I guess I would prefer to just buy two different concealers that are color matched to my skin, rather than fighting with it every morning!
Also I found the consistency strange and hard to blend, independent of the color issues. It sat on my skin in a very noticeable way.
I will chalk this up to experience, and try again with something else! But I am still looking forward to trying the JI blushes. I like the pressed base so much. |

Hi Nicle,
I'm sorry you didn't have any luck with this. This is actually my favorite concealer for dark circles - I find it easy to blend (but I use it over eye moisturiser) and love the coverage. I never actually tried to mix the two colors as each suits me well for different purposes. I use the lighter one to cover up circles and the other one to cover up visible veins.
Interestingly though, I use Warm Silk in JI Pressed Base (and love this also!) but I actually use the Circle Delete in #2 not the one that you use. |

Hi Nickle, I have never tried the Circle/Delete as I don't have problems with dark circles - just wanted to say I love the JI Blushes - so natural! Hope you love it too when you try it.
I also find the pure pressed excellent at covering acne scares. I am so impressed with the foundation! |
