Has anyone heard of Miessence certified organics? They are the World’s First Certified Organic range of Skin, Hair, Body, Cosmetic and Nutritional products.I discovered their website and I love their products. It’s easy to order from the website and I’ve saved a lot of money ordering off this site. This is definitely value for money. And it’s healthy for you.Check out their site:www.onegrp.com/?globalonegroup |

I've used most of their products, and although I would love to recommend them as I am on a quest for natural skincare, there is a balance of what actually works too.
If you are on a budget and have sensitive, good skin, I highly recommend this line. If you want more results, stick to companies like Dr. Hauschka, Shankara and Jurlique.
Here's what I tried;
Deoderant- lovely (although I prefer Real Purity and Dr H)
Tootpaste- great if you don't mind the salty taste
Shampoo- smells amazing, I might actually reorder this one.
Conditioner-...sorry, it sucks! Atleast on my dry hair...
Moisturiser- still sits almost brand new in my cabinetry...did nothing for me.
Cleanser- I like it...use it sometimes, but mostly for my brushes...
Toner- probably my favorite in their line, I like that it had a more gel-like consistency |

Thanks for the replies. I'm in the process of getting to use most of their products and what I am finding is that my skin is absolutely radiant. These products are actually feeding my skin with beautiful, organic nutrients. You've really got to try this to experience what it does to your skin.
I'm definitely a believer now. I just couldn't tolerate any more chemicals on my skin and eventually into my body. This is a product that makes me beautiful on the outside and the inside. |

luisaust - Have you tried other natural products at all? Or is this the only line that you're recommending?
I actually find Dr Hauschka and Kosmea products to be better but I am only basing this on trying out the Miessence products in a healthfood shop - I dind't like them enough to buy them. I didn't at all like the moisturisers I tried and I also did not care for their foundation or lipbalms. |

What you need to be aware of is what products you are using on your skin.
Most 'organic' and 'natural' products are nothing less than abhorent, let alone dishonest in their advertising and labelling. When you read an ingredient list on the back of a product, the first 3-5 ingredients constitute 95% of the contents of that product. Be weary of ingredients such as DEA, TEA and Sodium Laureate Sulphate; these are carcinogenic, burn your skin long term, and cause dermatological allergens. Not nice, long term. The toxins used in 99% of products will eventually be so absorbed in your body that they will eventually cause some dramatic illness. I'm not convinced that an ingredient list with ingredients which I have never heard of, or ingredients listed by numbers are good for me. If you're not convinced, do some internet research on the current products you have sitting in your bathroom. You'll be quite amazed and shocked at what these chemicals do to your body. And remember, that animals have the same cellular structure as humans; only plants differ; therefore if a particular product causes a rat to become blind, grows cancer tumours, becomes riddled with dermatitis, etc, you can be pretty sure that the same will happen to your body.
Just some points to consider! Not everything on the surface seems truthful at every stage. Be vigilant and ask questions, always. Remember, this is your health. What most companies consider is their bottom line and their shareholders, not the long term health (or suffering) of the consumer who purchases their products. Enough said. |

ITA -- many companies are so dishonest because they use words like 'organic' and 'all natural'. I used to get sucked into purchasing these things until I started paying careful attention to the ingredients. When I looked up some of the ingredients I was shocked. It definitely pays to do your research. I have found very few companies that live up to my standards, and ones that I do like have certain products which I feel are very bad. |
