I checked the garden pharmacy in the UK for Avene products.
Yes....there does appear to be an Avene Gel product for oily skin. As I said before, I use Alphaderma CE in the morning and evening. According to Bad Bird, the only compatible product is Avene.
I tried to click on the picture of the Avene gel product to recieve the roster of ingredients, but to no avail. I just hope that the Avene gel will be compatible with the Alphaderma.
Does anybody know the ingredients in this formulation. I am not able to find an "Avene" homepage.
I also want to order the proper sunscreen. From other reviews regarding Avene, the products seem to be heavy and/or oily. This could mean "disaster" for my acne prone skin. (which is why I was interested in the Avene gel).
If you guys have info on this product, please advise.
Thanks so much..... |

Hi belledivine67 - I checked the brochure that came with my SPF50+ Spray. While the ingredients of various formulae aren't listed, the Oil-free Cream-Gel (Creme-Gel) 20B 20A is listed in the product section of Tinosorb sunscreens. A rating of 20 won't provide maximum protection, however, the Cream-Gel DOES seem to be their attempt to provide a Tinosorb-formula for acneic skin. At least you'd be getting better UVA protection than most other sunscreens on the market. And I would assume since it contains Tinosorb, it won't be degraded by the JB products -- but Bad Bird would perhaps know for sure.
