I am in my thirty and facing aging problem.
Put my basci information here first
I am an Asian with light skin tone and a dry/small oily combi skin.
I have visible pore in the nose and cheek nearby many years ago. The horrible thing is that the large pore area is obviously spread to more cheek area.
Basically I clean my face PM and AM, do deep clean mask twice a week, So I think it is not due to the reason of cleaning but aging.
I remember that the most important reason of big pore is aging due to the loose of the skin texture.
Right now I use full set Alpha CE as my daily regime, which do helps me tightening my face and reduce some wrinkle but no effection to the pores. As a fact, it comes to be more serious.
I read a lot post in this forum and find that maybe Obagi will be my saver. It seems change your skin inside out which as I suppose will fully improve the quality of the skin.
Am I right or not, I hope anybody have the Experience with it can give me feedback.
What did you get from this product. Should I put my hope to it.
Eagerly waiting for you answer |

I read somewhere that retinol is the cornerstone of all the Obagi formulations. Since retinol is weak tretinoin (retin-A), now it makes sense to me that many Obagi users go through a peeling stage and then their skin improves. This is similar to Retin-A as well. I use Retin-A. Cheaper for the Rx than all the Obagi products but many have had success with Obagi so you will probably get some more responses. |

thank you betterat 40,
Can I know that what kind of Retin-A you use, a pure one or some product contains it and where did you get it.
Thanks! |

I use the 0.05% Retin-A cream. It's an Rx I get from my general physician. Costs about $75 each tube and lasts probably about 4 months at least. I only use it every other night or I get too flaky around my mouth. I have just started using it under my eyes (past 2 mos.). It works great there, too, but be warned, you definitely go through an "ugly" period in that area as your skin adjusts to the medicine. |

I have used the Obagi products and can quite honestly say my skin was RADIANT. All the sun spots went, my skin was so hydrated and clear - people would comment on it daily, but I found it too expensive to maintain long term. If I could afford it, I would never stop using it. I have never used ANY product that gives the same or even similar results. The Retin-A is part of the process for the first 10 days, then you back off. |
