After reading all those fab reviews, I recently purchased the Y-Y oil. I usually take about 3 pumps (big dropplets), and warm it in my palm before applying. Maybe I was using too much cause my face still feels oily after a while. So, how much do you use? and do you use it both morning and night? I've read some comments about only using it in the morning.

If this is what you want on your face, I would start with 1-2 drops and whatever doesn't absorb after about 15 min, just wipe off.

Having said that though, theres no proof that oils of any kind is beneficial for skin.

decleor ylang ylang is great. If you are still feeling oily after a few minutes, just start decreasing the amount you use until your face feels comfortable and there are no oilies.

Did you buy the Decleor oil or a straight Ylang Ylang oil? It's just that you said "pumps" and I don't think the Decleor has a pump. The reason I ask is that, as far as I am aware, you should not be putting undiluted essential oils on your skin....

Anyhow, if you're using the Decleor oil then all I used to do when I applied it is just get a dab on two fingers (by inverting the bottle) and pat that into the skin.

Mabsy - I am using Decleor y-y oil, I guess now the new bottle design comes with pump. Looking at the reponses, it seems like I have been using way too much.

Excellent! Pump bottle sounds much more hygienic that putting your finger over the top Laughing

If it's a pump bottle I would imagine it's a measured dose and one pump should be enough. you do only need a small amount to see results, a bottle should last about 6 months.
