My Birthday - I'm ill and decorating!!

Well everyone it's my birthday today, I'm 23 Shock

and it's pouring with rain, cold and I have come down with this nasty virus. All I can do is be sick and sleep Sad

. Oh and if that's not bad enough we are decorating, paint fumes do not agreeing with me Laughing

We are on a bit of a tight schedule as we only started today and the carpet is coming on Wednesday so we have to have the glossing done tomorrow. I am going to be off my head with the fairies on gloss Rolling Eyes

Can't believe you are having to gloss on your birthday. I love painting and decorating but when it comes to glossing I try to avoid it at all costs. Nasty work.

Thankyou everyone, I got up extra early today, my boyfriend had done the night shift painting and I had a thumping headache when I woke up, so I thought I may as well get the glossing done Shock

. It was only fair, he has been so good and more or less done everything himself, so I wanted to finnish off.
Well I'm as high as a kite on those gloss fumes Laughing

and I've got 'upper respiratory infection' Rolling Eyes

, we went to the co-op in the rain and got some strawberries to celebrate Laughing

Now I am going to sit by the fire (it is cold and raining up here), with all the windows open and read my book. I've already made the tea, we are on homemade bread and corned beef hash - good hearty warming food for a rainy day Very Happy

I have got so much money for my birthday, cards came stufed through the post Very Happy

, so we are going to go for a day ut when both myself and the weather improves to Chester so I can spend all these pennies Very Happy

I also got some Boot's vouchers - so come on any ideas what is worth buying at Boots? I thought of Avene Very Happy

An update, feeling much better today - might be something to do with my wonderful boyfriend showering me with unsuspected gifts, I got some earings and a diamond bracelet, I can't stop looking at them, oh I am so spoilt Very Happy

And he drove 13 miles in the rain just to buy me some Benedicts Bittermints and Lindt which he knows I love Very Happy
