Hello guys. Which peeling is not so bad for the skin. Because I have yellow skin I have heard that not all peelings are good, because it can make the hypepigmentation worse. So my question is if someone knows which peeling is effective to remove the upper skin, without making it worse or too thin. Thanks in advance, bye. . |

Hi Sweety Smarty. What I mean is a peeling that you can do by a beautyspecialist. Like TCA peeling or microdermabrasie, this are peelings with chemical stuff in it and after you do this peeling, the skin becomes read and after 14 days the upper skin come of and a new skin exisists. Hope that you now know what I mean. . |

Pipilover I don't have any experience of peels either, but do you remember that link I gave you about Kojic acid. It says in more 'pigmented' skin there are worries about patchy colour after doing resurfacing procedures and that doctor recommends his patients to use Kojic acid for several weeks before to reduce any pigmentation problems afterwards. I just remind you in case you ever do do a peel. You seem to be covering every part of yourself from head to toe. You'll be a completely new woman - we won't recognise you. |

Whahahahaha . No but serieusly, I thought that America and other countrys where much further in things like peelings and stuff. That is why I asked if anyone had experience with it, or know something about it. Do you guys never heard about green peel either? Bye bye. |

Well actually I am young too, I am just 17 years old. But I think that maybe we have the peelings here in the Netherlands, and that is why you never heard about it I think. Dont you guys have extreme makeover programs? . |

Hi Pipilover. I've had 3 peels done, the pumpkin enzyme peel, a detox peel, and a brighten up peel that I left on over night. Not too sure what ingredients are in the last two peels, but all 3 of them were lighter peels (the pumpkin peel is my favorite). I had moderate flaking from about the 2nd day to about the 6th day, which made it hard to put makeup on, so I just skipped it. And, I used a post peel kit that calmed & healed the skin. After the 6th day, I have nice glowing skin!!! These peels are very good for the skin too, not harsh at all, but I only do them every 6 months because the flaking isn't fun However, the end results have always been great so I'll continue to get them done... even if I do look like Goldmember from Austin Powers for a couple days |

Hi Ktsweets. What is the pumpkin peel exactly, and what does it do for the skin? I mean does it lighten, makes the tone even, makes it glow? Bye bye . |

Well, my skin can get congested (occasional acne flare ups) and it really helped with that, also made my skin REALLY smooth & glowing. I think the main ingredient is Vitamin A, but I know it has a ton of other vitamins in it too. I smoke too (I know, very bad!), and my aesthetician told me it's good for stimulating circulation. Plus, it wasn't uncomfortable (ie it didn't sting too much) & smelled really good! |
